Horrifying Double Murder Challenges The Paradise Valley Arizona Police Department

Paradise Valley, AZ—In this tranquil and upscale community crime is rare. The people here generally have wealth and in our faltering economy burglaries and home invasions are bound to increase. As bank robber Willie Sutton once answered a reporter asking him why he robbed banks, “It’s where the money is!”

Today gold, gems and a simple set of silver flatware will fetch record prices. Most people use banks and credit cards and don’t keep much cash on hand.

The police department here is comprised of 25 sworn and certified officers. This department has a history of incompetence and became a place for otherwise unemployable cops fired from other agencies. This was the case in the 70's, 80's and 90's.

I don’t want to leave anyone with that impression today because the troubled officers for the most part have faded off into the sunset with their substandard supervisors and chiefs.

Commander Alan Laitsch has been around a long time and has proven himself to be contentious and professional in every respect.

There is a problem though and that is no fault of any current officer, it’s that they just don’t have experience with murder or shooting investigations in this promised land.

Paradise Valley has simply turned their police into a revenue robot traffic camera extortion racket that rakes in the cash. The first and foremost purpose of the department is generating revenue.

This agency also monitors resident’s burglar alarms and provides a vacation watch. Of course they do have burglaries and occasional vandalism. The clear up rate for these crimes is low in every community.

Glenna and Lawrence Shapiro was a lovely couple enjoying their golden years doting on their children and grand children. The couple have been married forever and shared their good fortune and wealth with several charities. All good things come from better education and Stanford’s School of Medicine did not fail Lawrence in that regard.

A follow-up investigation to a torched automobile belonging to the Shapiro’s led police to the couple’s Paradise Valley Home. The home was on fire and the couple was found bound and burned beyond recognition.

The Maricopa County Medical Examiner has not formally identified the bodies and has been diligently trying to determine the exact cause of death.

There’s little doubt that last moments of the Shapiro’s lives was as frightening as it gets. The sadistic animals responsible for this need to be removed from the streets or this will not be their last crime.

Paradise Valley Police reportedly have obtained the help of the FBI, Secret Service and US Marshall’s service. That’s not enough. What’s needed is a crack team of big city homicide detectives where there are a lot of homicides.

There is another problem with this case and that is wealthy people have different issues than the residents of a large crime ridden city where the homicide victims tend to be poor.

Investigation of the Shapiro murders is going to require a massive paper investigation to determine just how and why this couple was targeted. Somehow I doubt seriously this was a random crime.

It will prove interesting if the killer/s used any of the couple’s credit cards. Many savvy criminals dump cards in places, were they can be found and used by petty crooks to throw investigators off their scent. The fact that the Secret Service is involved is a sure sign the cards were believed to be used after the couple was murdered since this organization is well known for their prowess at investigation of credit card fraud. Bringing in the US Marshall's Service suggests to me that someone thinks a federal fugitive is somehow involved.

I have to say that I can’t imagine the heartbreak this crime has brought a lovely family.

This crime is solvable.

The Explosion of Social Media is Influencing the Outcome of Our Criminal Trials

Los Angeles, CA—I have been telling anyone who’d listen that Social Media is a huge game changer in the criminal justice system.

The lawyers especially those older warhorses that are not so computer savvy are incredibly ignorant. They don’t see the major influence that bloggers, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube has on prosecutors, judges and jurors.

In the real world judges controlling the reading and television habits was a losing battle. Jurors lie about what and when they read especially when they are admonished. Human nature requires people touch the wall when they see the wet paint sign.

The Internet is a powerful magnet that has put millions of us in front of computer screens. We get instant information on anything we want and love that empowerment. Many experts agree that the Internet becomes an addiction that can’t be overcome, certainly by some judge that can’t view what jurors do at home.

People probing search engines can quickly compromise any case involving someone who has a profile or news stories on the Internet.

The real issue is the planting of land mines by those seeking to sway or influence the verdict on any case.

I suspect that prosecutors are influenced to file cases or not based on early Social Media hype. Being political creatures hey want to be on the popular side of those prosecutions.

Judges are also caught up in the politics of popularity and don’t want to rule on the wrong side of a case especially when they could go either way.

Jury Internet shenanigans were out-of-control at the murder trial of music legend, Phil Spector. The lawyers in that case or Judge Larry Fiddler had neither a clue nor inclination to explore this uncharted territory. The massive amount of venom, outright lies and hate spewed by the so-called “True Crime” gossipmongers rather than credible evidence decided that case.

When I write stories about crimes and court cases I watch my web counter for the origin of my visitors. It’s always the same cops; prosecutors, jurors and even judges are Googling the name of the people involved in some investigation. They bookmark their favorite sites, that favor their opinions.

Right now the only way to beat this is to join in by leveling the playing field.

Lawyer’s hands are tied but the supporters, family and friends are not. They are always free to put up blogs, videos and tweets that counter-balance the negatives.

The best way to do it is to make a mini documentary that exposes the failings of the police investigation. Additionally you need to make sure you include all that helpful evidence the judges will undoubtedly exclude.

Putting up the story with proper meta-tags will insure the expose’ will be viewed by the very people who should not be viewing it.

It may be years or longer before they find a solution to this problem. The information age monster is growing by the second and so are prosecutor’s conviction rates. Remember it’s always the cops and prosecutors that routinely smear the accused with those press releases just before a judge is assigned to the case. The defense lawyers can do little since by the time they’re involved the rules of the court apply.

The best thing for the family and supporters can do is finding a TV producer/reporter willing to put together a professional documentary that serves the accused in the fight to counter the negatives. Yes, it will cost several thousand dollars but it is worth it in the long run.

Six minutes is the format of TV’s 60 Minutes and is the best way to make your case. If needed a second or third piece can be put up for the jurors that will be sure to get just a little more information. We must play to the short attention span of the public.

The Joe Hosey Drew Peterson Smear Project Worked and he Can’t Get a Fair Trial Now.

Joliet, IL—I have written some two-dozen articles on the Drew Peterson case.

I have lamented the fact that our Bill of Rights that guarantee speedy and fair trials along with the right to confront accusers has been tossed out the window.

They don’t have the evidence needed try Peterson so they’re simply got him in indefinite detention. He’s been locked for 3 ½ years with out a trial or even a date when one will begin.

The made for TV film, Untouchable has been fictionalized to the fantasy of its author. It has little basis in reality but it was broadcast as a “true” story. The viewers see the film's scenes as truthful recreations of actual events.

My Peterson articles were well read all along. However upon television’s release of the film Google being searched by film viewers has sent my blog into record-breaking viewership.

I have gotten massive comments from these Television viewers that are abusive, frightening and hateful. Not one comment from the new Peterson film fans has shown doubt of Peterson’s guilt. I have had little choice but to delete all of the ignorant and misleading comments since they libel Peterson.

That sends a chilling message to me. That message is if you can delay a criminal trial long enough for Hollywood to make a film the jury pool is poisoned for good.

What the courts seem to refuse to recognize is that jurors lie about their biases. They lie about their exposure to news articles, Internet activities and other influencing material with abandon.

I’m convinced that Drew Peterson can never get a fair trial now since most Americans have been electronically bombarded the wildly popular belief that he’s guilty of killing two wives.

In the Peterson case a change of venue can’t help. I can say only a few people I’ve met anywhere including Europe don’t know about this case and formed an opinion that Drew Peterson is guilty.

I don’t know how the courts will be able to deal with this legal disaster. Judges can simply pretend that the seated jury is unbiased and let them do whatever they please.

If the courts rule the hearsay as inadmissible, despite any other evidence a conviction would be possible based on our modern day information age.

The Internet has changed pretrial and trial publicity forever. Sequestering jurors during high profile trials has never been so urgent. The courts will have no choice but to revisit the issue of pre-trial and trial publicity.

Are LAPD Helicopters Stalking Joe Wallace?

Los Angeles, CA—This saga is right out the land of Conspiracies and Paranoia. Unbelievable you say? I took a first hand look and I can’t discount the strange happenings by any means.

Joe Wallace is an L.A. businessman and a sports enthusiast. He’s a divorced father who’s clearly devoted to his kids. Wallace has made it clear that he’s never been involved in any conduct that would interest or deserve the attention of law enforcement. Something’s here’s just not right!

Attached below after Wallace’s video interview is his Federal Court complaint that alleges this all began seven years ago. LAPD helicopters began to follow Wallace nearly wherever he went.

Wallace has shot and posted YouTube videos of his tormentors. He’s retained the services of lawyers and private investigators seeking to end the surveillance.

The story and anybody telling is sounds crazy. Crazy people generally don’t function well and can’t maintain friends or relationships. Wallace has lots of friends including attractive girlfriends. He’s clean, well groomed and athletic.

I initially doubted this story but after investigation I became convinced something is going on. How nefarious is this? Is this about some bored police pilots having fun at Wallace’s expense?

Could this just all be a coincidence and helicopter just show up wherever Wallace travels?

I began looking for helicopters near my own movements and certainly I see them but only now and then. When I’m near Wallace that all changes as he seems to attract them like flies.

I noticed that the helicopters were constant companions on weekdays when law enforcement activities slow down. On busy Friday and Saturday nights the helicopters appear to be pre-occupied with other matters.

I’m not clairvoyant and can’t hear the thoughts and words of these pilots. I suspect that they may have reacted to Wallace’s animated reaction to their presence.

How they follow Wallace and always seem to know where he is another mystery. I examined his car top to bottom for GPS devices. Since I employ these myself I know just what to look for and found none on Wallace’s vehicle.

Either Wallace’s helicopter stalkers have cooperation from Wallace’s cell phone provider or someone is able to notify these pilots of his movements.

A summer adventure for Cops, Lawyers, Judges, History Buffs, and Reporters

Germany—People involved in the law, courts and justice need so see what’s not taught in law school. They need to see how the law can quickly go wrong even in a sophisticated and civilized society.

Under National Socialism, justice was perverted into a filmed spectator sport where capital punishment for even minor resistance to government became acceptable and frequent.

I’ve spent decades inside the criminal justice system. I have always wondered where the line is drawn for determining just when justice becomes Judicial Tyranny. Trust me it’s not easy to figure out unless of course you’re the victim justice gone wrong.

My visits to Germany have taken me to some very infamous places deep inside Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich and Nuremberg.

It is shocking and indeed moving to stand where the authorities were criminals dispensing their justice under color of law. To say these visits were life changing is an understatement. For lawyers, judges and those working in and around or courts, what’s past is prologue.

This trip is not about the Holocaust but rather how the Nazis treated German non-Jews that spoke out against the Nazi police state. Jews were stripped of their citizenship and were not entitled to even Nazi Due Process. The German citizen turned in by a neighbor was in for some real horror at the People's Court. Government propaganda made people believe that the accused citizens would be treated fairly. Americans today are grossly ignorant of just how the Nazi dictatorship manipulated the truth and easily fooled the public.

You will meet Judge Roland Friesler, President of the People’s Court shown above. He was a former Communist who embraced National Socialism. Frisler can be seen in action in many videos on YouTube.

This horrible man was killed during an allied bombing raid in 1944. Rather than seek refuge in the shelter he was trying to gather and protect the files of the defendants being tried before his court.

Unfortunately Frisler is alive and presiding in courtrooms all over the world including our own. Every practicing lawyer has seen Frisler in one form or another.

I want to lead a small tour to Germany to the actual sites of Nazi administered Judicial Tyranny.

The criminal trials of the Third Reich all involved career cops investigating the reports of busybody snitches. They established probable cause for some wartime anti-terrorism violation arresting their suspects.

Torture was not used except in major conspiracy cases. The cops made detailed reports and forwarded the cases to Nazi prosecutors that filed formal complaints in The People's Court.

The accused had a right to an appointed attorney that functioned as a bearer of bad news to the accused.

A public trial was held and the prosecution always won. Death sentences were handed down for trivial anti-Nazi offenses using wartime as an excuse.

The fixed trials were well documented and the sham appeal process was really quick. Nazi Justice was very swift.

The Third Reich’s executioners were very buzy.

Sippenshaft Justice: That German word translates to Kin Liability. This was a Nazi tool of collective punishment used primarily after the Stauffenberg July 20, 1944 failed bomb plot. Relatives those accused of crimes against the Reich often were executed or imprisoned. Nina Von Stauffenberg was sent to Ravensbrück concentration camp and her children were renamed and placed in an orphanage.

Today this great nation celebrates human rights and is a terrific friend of America. The food here is as good as it gets with sweets to die for. This also calls for a river cruise with wine, cheese grapes and breathtaking views. German nightlife is really exciting. You'll find elegance, entertainment and lots of fun.

Places on the proposed agenda:

1. Munich: Here we would visit the University and the Stadleheim Prison. This is about the students and teachers who made up the White Rose. That group simply created and passed out leaflets critical of the Third Reich government. Sophie Scholl was just 21 years old when she was arrested, tried, convicted and beheaded within four days. We will visit the places here where Adolph Hitler brought National Socialism into the world’s spotlight. The Dachau Concentration Camp is near Munich where many resisters or there spouses were sent for punishment.

2. Frankfurt: Here was the site of the second major war crimes trial after the Nazi government fell.

3. Berlin's Bendlerblock German Resistance Memorial Center: This great city is the location of the German Resistance Museum dedicated to the victims of judicial Tyranny. It is the site of the firing squad executions of Colonel Claus Van Stauffenberg and the other conspirators that tried to stop Hitler in the Wolf’s Lair Bombing. Here you can learn about 5000 people murdered in the name of the law. The pictures, stories and actual Nazi court documents are all here for your inspection.

4. Berlin’s Plotzensee Prison Memorial: Here you can see the execution chamber where at least 5000 German citizens were either beheaded or hanged on piano wire. On a single night in this room nearly 300 men and women were placed in a line for their turn on the wire.

5. 8 Prinz Albrecht Street Gestapo and SS Headquarters building: Only a small portion of this infamous structure is left. Next to the remains is a new museum, the Topography of Terror Documentation Center dedicated to exposing this dreaded Homeland Security organization. They have thousands of photographs and 12 years of police related reports for viewing. Here you can learn about turning neighborhood busybodies and your own children into snitches.

6. Berlins People’s Court: allied bombing destroyed this courthouse that took the life of the court’s President, Roland Frisler in 1944. Today the beautiful Sonny Center stands there with many wonderful restaurants and great stores. There is a simple brass marker at the court’s former entrance.

7. Berlin’s Spandau Prison: The actual prison is a closed supermarket but there are a significant number of buildings of this military complex of similar architecture. This is of course where the imprisoned war criminals such as Rudolph Hess and Albert Speer were held for decades after the war.

8. Sachsenhausen Memorial and Museum: The Nazi regime felt the need for preventative detention of political dissidents in 1936 so that visitors to the Olympic Games would see no signs of resistance. They quickly rounded up their detractors and interred them in this concentration camp near Berlin. This place housed all manner of misfit, criminals, homosexuals and the racially rejected. More than 200,000 people were detained here until it was liberated in 1945. Needless to say tens of thousands did not survive incarceration here. The Soviets quietly continued using the facility for their own agenda for years after the war.

9. Nuremberg: Here is where the Nazis promulgated their race laws, outlawing Jews and stripping them of their citizenship. This is also where the Hall of Justice that was the scene of the first and largest War Crimes Trial. Also here is that stadium where Adolph Hitler addressed thousands in a military display of might.

To do this right I’d plan on about ten days. Many will want to explore other German or European cities and can do so once this tour is concluded.

I would also shoot a broadcast quality video of our adventures that would be distributed to everyone on this tour.

God, Gun Laws and Self-Defense

Los Angeles, CA—It’s appropriate that I write about this in jurisdiction with crappy gun laws, where they have unlocked the prison doors. Politicians here hate gun rights and have chosen for you to die rather than be able to fend off a killer. That’s the ugly truth.

I’m not very religious but this is a way to keep a seemingly complicated issue simple.

Our creator made man. Man was born into this world with some very necessary gifts.

1. Man was given the gift of fear. Without this we’d not have survived childhood.
2. Additionally man was given the basic instinct for survival and that with fear tells us exactly what to do in order to survive.
3. Last we were given the ability to make, or acquire tools/weapons that we need to survive.
We also know evolution has refined our gifts throughout time.

Everyday in America stronger, armed and better armed people commit atrocities against smaller, weaker or poorly armed victims. You either have means and ability to survive or you don’t.

Criminals have fear too and nearly always run when they face even a fair fight. Some politicians don’t want criminals endangered or to feel the need to run. These politicians are accessories to these criminls and they facilitate situations where law-abiding folks are unprotected and vulnerable to robbery, rape and murder.

I ask you why we should ever surrender the gifts our creator gave us to some mentally challenged politician? What politician has the right to take those gifts from us?

We not only have the right to protect our selves, families and neighbors but an absolute duty to do so that as a human being.

To stand by and watch someone rob, rape or murder is fundamentally wrong. Calling 911 and waiting 20 minutes for help will bring you little more than a clean up crew to remove the bodies.

Americans and our police must learn to ignore politicians trampling on the rights of law-abiding citizens to possess and carry arms as guarenteed under our Second Amendment.

In Los Angeles and surrounding communities they have slowly began mass prisoner releases. The crime right is climbing some 300% already and the worst is yet to come.

Those who remain untrained, unarmed and unprotected may learn about Darwin’s law the hard way.

If you’re attacked, simply shoot if you have to and scoot. Don’t hang around because some accomplice of your attacker may kill you. Don’t call 911 and make no statement to anyone but a lawyer about the shooting or why you shot. If police catch up with you simply say, “I want a lawyer.”

In the meantime you can only demand that your politicians return your gun rights.

Should you choose to carry a gun be discreet and avoid conflict. Remember the Fourth Amendment that protects you from unreasonable police searches still exists somewhat.

Judge the risk of being charged with a misdemeanor by remembering how many times you’ve been stopped and searched by a cop. That rick should be miniscule.

Former Chicago Cop Convicted of Trying to Murder Cops

Chicago, IL—Some seven years ago on February 21, 2005, Howard Morgan wound up in a gunfight with several cops that he lost in a big way. When it was over Morgan was shot 25 times. What’s amazing is that he lived. Three of the patrol officers were also wounded, presumably by Morgan who was a lawfully armed off duty railroad cop. Morgan previously served asa Chicago cop.

I really have no problem with the amount of times Morgan was shot considering the ineffectiveness of the 9MM round the patrol officers were using.

The incident reportedly began when Morgan was observed driving without headlights around 1:00 AM in an area known for drugs and vice activities.

The big mystery here to me was a motive for Morgan to start shooting. I’m still waiting to hear one. Perhaps we will never know. The Howard Morgan gunfight was followed with all kinds of racial profiling accusations. This seems to be a case of Morgan being the only clear defense witness being outnumbered by at least four patrol officers testifying for the prosecution.

Morgan was tried but the first jury was unable to reach a unanimous verdict. It took seven very long years to try this case and this time Morgan was convicted on every count. Morgan now faces far more years in prison than he’s got left on earth.

I called this case strange because trying to suggest a reason for Morgan to begin shooting is difficult. That kind of traffic stop would never have resulted in even a citation given under the circumstances since Morgan was a cop. Cops always treat each other very well regardless of race. It's indeed a rare day when one cop writes another cop a traffic citation.

This sad chapter has ended with severe changes to at least four lives. I wish I could feel that justice was served but frankly I don’t have enough information beyond pure faith in the Cook County Criminal Justice System. Okay I confess that there’s not much real justice in Cook County. Let’s hope this jury somehow got it right.

Our Secret Service and the Hostility Against Obama

Washington, DC—These days I pity the agents of the U.S. Secret Service. They are working overtime trying to separate free speech from actual threats against Barack Obama. That has to be an impossible task.

Frankly Obama has earned all the venom and anger of anyone who values the Constitution, Bill of Rights and the American way of life.

Millions of Americans like me were trained by our own country to kill Communists and frankly Obama is considered by many to be a Communist. Seeing one in the Whitehouse is freakish to say the least and is likely to cause violence by any number of veterans.

In Nazi Germany it was a death penalty offense to show any disrespect to Adolph Hitler. We have rejected the notion that mere loathing of an American President is punishable.

Hate speech against Obama is still not a crime. It’s simply a sad state of affairs to have a president that is so un-American and has attacked our basic liberty at every turn.

Yes, I loathe Obama totally and I don’t wish him good health. I have zero respect for what I consider a dangerous criminal. By the same token I only support the lawful arrest, indictment, prosecution, conviction and punishment for Obama’s crimes. They are:

1. Treason by his undermining the Constitution by eliminating Habeas Corpus and Posse Comitatus Act.
2. For his expansion of the “Patriot Act”.
3. For allowing the groping of the sex organs of men, women and children at our airports by TSA thugs that are immune from state law.
4. For the deliberate export of weapons to Mexican drug criminals to further his propaganda war on our Second Amendment.
5. For his Obstruction of Justice by preventing the enforcement of our immigration laws.

The above acts are indeed crimes. When the American people see these types of crimes go unpunished at what point can they remove a despot by force or violence?

I don’t know the answers. I stay as far away from Obama as I can. Frankly being around him could be dangerous in these hostile times.

Statistically any American President stands a ten percent chance of being assonated. As hated as Obama is, I’m amazed he lasted this long. Being around this lightening rod is dangerous. Bombs meant for Adolph Hitler killed numerous innocent people. Hanging around Obama may get you killed in the crossfire.

As for veteran Secret Service agents they have taken an oath to support, defend and protect the Constitution and can be counted upon to do a far better job of it than Obama. I suspect a number of them can’t stomach the man they must protect.

The good news here is Obama can’t occupy the Whitehouse forever and perhaps sanity will rule as voters send the jerk into exile. What’s needed is a Special Prosecutor to bring that despot to book for his crimes.

The Drew Peterson Blue Barrel, Warm to the Touch.

Joliet, IL--The mentally challenged step-brother of retired police sergeant Drew Peterson, Thomas Morphey had claimed that around the time of Stacy Peterson’s disappearance he helped Peterson move a plastic blue barrel that was, “warm to the touch”.

Aside from a massive and failed police search for the barrel in the area indicated Morphey never contacted the police on his own accord. Was this just a case of some insignificant fool trying to become part of a story getting nationwide publicity?

Among the huge problems of the blue barrel story is that it’s not tied to the death of Kathleen Savio. That’s of course is aside from the question if the blue barrel story is true. No matter what anyone wants to believe there is zero evidence of what the contents of the barrel may have been.

We still don’t know where Stacy Peterson is today. Is she is dead or did she just follow up on her spoken plan to disappear to a place where her older husband would never find her?

The blue barrel was and is a red herring, suited for the gossipmongers. Morphey’s testimony about the blue barrel has no relevance to the case Peterson is charged with. It will never be heard inside the courtroom.

Of course every potential juror will have heard the gossip or have seen the silly Rob Lowe movie.

With Obama’s elimination of Habeas Corpus and Posse Comitatus Act War Games Begin on Americans!

Los Angeles, CA—In the area of the United States that embraces Barack Obama and his band of committed Communists our military are learning how to make urban war on Americans.

The LAPD and Special Forces have taken to our skies to plan urban assaults on civilians. This should send cold chills down you back.

Okay I understand our schools have longs ago abandoned teaching anyone about their rights or our Constitution. You can't begin to protect rights you don’t know about.

At the end of our own Civil War we enacted the Posse Comitatus Act. The purpose was to end any military organizations functioning as civilian law enforcement.

Habeas Corpus is about our rights to never being imprisoned without, probable cause, the right to a lawyer, bail and due process of law. Obama has signed into law a provision that simply eliminates this important liberty.

Obama has recently signed measures into law that eliminates Habeas Corpus and the Posse Comitatus Act. The motivation for this is beyond sinister.

Now the military is free to prepare for war on Americans and they're doing it right now in Los Angeles!.

With class warfare on the horizon we can count on certain things. Government workers to be so needy and dependent they will willingly engage in atrocities just to stay employed.

We can either resist now or suffer tyranny for the rest of our lives. We have no choice.

Chicago, IL—Corrupt politicians love throwing tax money at contributors that provide unneeded good and services. To qualify for the free money you just need to make those kickbacks.

The people responsible for burying the indigent, forgotten and unwanted human remains forgot to pay up so their services went unfunded. The result was an unimaginable crisis at the morgue.

Illinois and virtually every agency controlled by Leftist Democrats are virtually bankrupt because of total corruption.

What’s needed is ending the costly burials and save a bundle through simple cremation. When remains are not removed within ten days by a funeral home cremation is both reasonable and cost effective.

Families can be given the ashes of their impoverished loved ones. Or they can be buried easier and cheaper.

Forensic pathologists are rare in the medical community. Finding one to run that busy facility is not easy. Dr. Jones should not be punished for the failures of crooked politicians.

Cameras in Courtrooms are an Invitation to Corruption of Justice and Tyranny

Chicago, IL—The Illinois Supreme Court announced that they intend to allow cameras inside courtrooms bringing live trials for television entertainment.

Entertainment is exactly what they are creating. Turning courtrooms into media circus venues began inside The Peoples Court of Nazi Germany. The Show trials of Hitler’s courts were played in every neighborhood theater along with the regular films.

The Nazis learned from the Romans who dispensed “justice” at the Coliseum. People have an appetite to see the process of punishment utilized against their fellow man. Make no mistake standing trial for a crime in any forum is punishment.

The man pictured above is the father of televised trials. He’s Judge Roland Frisler who sent thousands of German citizens and at least one American woman to their deaths. Their crimes were that they resisted Nazi tyranny.

Another huge problem with televised trials is that it allows witnesses to see and hear each other give testimony. It’s the custom to exclude all witnesses from any court proceeding until after they testified.

People engaged in perjury conspiracies are obstructed by the exclusion. When they hear each other’s testimony they can keep their story lines in order. This move will corrupt trials.

If instead they broadcast trials after they ended lots problems could be avoided. News providers would be upset because the delay would turn news into history.

Lawyers, witnesses and judges turn into defacto entertainers. They play to the theater and embellish their roles. Many witnesses are reluctant to truthfully testify if doing that would prove embarrassing with the whole world watching.

Too many lawyers love the idea of winning television fame as players in the theater of the courtroom.

TV news providers know this will bring ratings and new revenue so they understandable welcome this change.

The Nazi regime used show trials as an intimidation technique to terrorize the population as a way to shut down any resistance to their tyranny.

Don’t allow our courts to become an intimidation tool for government despots. Don’t allow our courts to corrupt the practice of excluding witnesses.

California Highway Patrol Officer Convicted of First Degree Murder

Los Angeles, CA—This case should have been a winner but Oakland CA. lawyer Darrell Stallworth apparently was not up to the task.

Of course Stallworth had to deal with his client, Tomieka Jones Lemons Johnson’s statements made to police investigators when she killed her husband, Marcus Lavar Lemons with a single shot from a tiny Browning .25 automatic pistol.

There was a history of domestic violence and a disparity of force involved. Stallworth just did not overcome the prosecutor’s lame suggestion that Johnson was somehow a superior combatant because of police training.

The case was winnable because it took some two years for prosecutors to indict Johnson. Their case was week but the courtroom defense was even weaker.

The defense needed a solid investigation and qualified expert witnesses. It had neither.

Johnson is now facing the rest of her life in prison.

Las Vegas, NV—Erin Simpson is also a big gun Tucson lawyer! I met this interesting lady in Pittsburgh at last year’s NRA convention. Erin is one to watch as she forces open even more doors to the gun rights community for yet more women.

We have, “Right to Carry” laws in all but a handful of states thanks to some dedicated women like Marion Hammer, Sandi Frohman, actress Lee Purcell and a handful of others. It was a plea from the weaker sex that changed the direction of American gun laws.

The NRA was slow to recruit women perhaps because the good old boys thought only men understood the value of guns as a lifesaver. Women broke down the membership doors of the NRA when they should have been aggressively invited. Thankfully the women are here to stay.

Another sign of hostility that has made women feel unwelcome is some of the thoughtless marketing campaigns exploiting scantly clad ladies using sex to get the attention of men. Erin pointed this out to me in a recent conversation at the Las Vegas SHOT Show and she’s absolutely correct.

Ruger Firearms has used a delightful woman, Kelly Glenn Kimbro. Kimbro is a well known rancher, hunter, guide from Southern Arizona. She’s never caught wearing provocative outfits and her real image is that of an attractive women who is serious about fine firearms. She can be seen in dozens of Ruger posters. Kimbro is a women’s role model in every way.

Sex sells in our world but it need not be tasteless and sleazy. Indeed, women are sexy and using real elegance, glamour to sell fine firearms would offend nobody. Sleazy gun ads don't speak well for men either. Perhaps it's time to bring some class to eye candy.

Drew Peterson Untouchable is a Joe Hosey Smear Job

Joliet, IL—Putting someone in a jail cell for more than three years without even a trial date is incredible and un-American. This is all because Will County Prosecutor James Glasgow wants to introduce the worst kind of hearsay evidence into an American courtroom.

The trial judge refused to allow the hearsay and Glasgow is appealing his loss until he reaches the court of last resort. In the meantime Peterson is being held in jail on a $20 million bail bond requirement.

Most Americans don’t have a clue just what hearsay is or how grossly unfair it is. When we formed America we created protections for people charged with crimes. The simple and foremost right is the one that gives the accused the right to face, confront anyone or anything used against him in court. In the case of testimony that means the right to cross-examine what’s being said.

Let’s begin with hearsay being a simple quote being repeated by an honest person. Remembering and repeating exactly what someone has told you is a difficult task even for news reporters. They take notes and manage to get it wrong more often than you could imagine. You can change the meaning of anything said with the slightest variation of a word. The tone and emphasis of a speaker can also take the exact same words making them sinister when they were not.

In the Peterson case the people offering the banned hearsay evidence stand to profit from Drew Peterson being convicted of murder. They have sued Peterson in civil court and a conviction in the criminal court would assure a money judgment in the civil court.

Our founding fathers understood the dangers and simple unfairness of hearsay and outlawed it in our Constitution. However that act has never stopped politicians like James Glasgow to make every effort to undermine that protection.

We can either have fair trials or accept judicial tyranny like we had in the Salem Witch trials of long ago.

No matter what anyone wants to believe there are certain facts in the Peterson case that won’t go away. Kathleen Savio had been embroiled in a divorce with Peterson and suffered a fatal injury in her bathtub. She changed the locks on the house and Drew Peterson did not have a key. The manner and cause of her death is far from resolved. If she was murdered there is zero evidence Peterson was somehow involved.

Savio’s relatives all claim she was afraid of Peterson and suggested Peterson would harm her. Those claims are thrown about in every contemptuous divorce at one time or another. Thankfully in all but a tiny fraction of cases those claims of threats were either lies made to influence divorce courts or were simply ugly emotional outbursts.

As for Stacy Peterson she is simply missing as her own mother was been long before she ever met Peterson. The presumption of her death is premature and suggesting who may have killed her is anything but proof or even mildly credible evidence. Peterson is not charged with anything related to Stacy Peterson however the finger pointing at Drew Peterson is beyond out-of-Control.

Drew Peterson fought those allegations not only by denial but also by ridiculing his accusers. It’s an understandable position if he’s killed nobody. The families and friends of “victims” are sacred cows and are placed above ridicule in our society no matter what they say or do. The problem here is we must guess if they are even victims.

One time neighborhood newspaper reporter Joe Hosey saw an opportunity to profit from a smear job of Peterson and wasted little time publishing a book and selling rights to a made for TV film.

Peterson’s Innocence Tour of the network TV morning shows backfired and now his ability to obtain an unbiased jury is in serious jeopardy. The crappy made for TV film has poisoned the jury pool forever.

The thing people forgot about Drew Peterson is he has never been accused of a crime in his life and enjoyed a 30-year career with an unblemished record as a cop.

Peterson’s real crime is that he’s become a media legend, based on the reports that he repeatedly traded aging wives for younger and more attractive women.

One of my blog visitors wanted me to do a piece on yet another gun being released. I foolishly passed on taking a second look that the gun because of a personal bias against most polymer frame guns. This all black gun had that familiar look from the distance. Boy was I wrong!

How Many Young Mothers Must Go to Bed Fearful Every Night in America?

Chicago, IL—In this city law-abiding people are routinely placed into unnecessary danger and abject fear by their own government.

Is being placed in fear somehow more tolerable than hunger or being denied medical care? For too many politicians, forcing people to live in fear is a desirable goal.

Is it perhaps because these oblivious politicians live in safe well-protected neighborhoods, drive reliable cars and work in government buildings where everyone is searched before they enter? Is there a more sinister motive to their gun prohibition agenda?

Every night in places like Chicago, New York and Newark young mothers must put their children to bed in abject fear. Working mothers must take public transportation to various night jobs throughout these cities that have stripped them of their human right to self-defense. The vicious predators roaming around in these cities all depend on government to keep the people they rob, rape and murder unarmed.

The cities that deny the right to meaningful self-defense are also the most crime-ridden and dangerous.
We all know in most places in our nation we can order a pizza by telephone and get a quicker response than by calling police.

When you call the police in an emergency you’re simply asking for someone with a gun to come and protect you from a real threat.

Is it just too much to demand from our politicians the rights to keep and bear arms already granted by our Constitution?

In Oklahoma a very young mother widowed days earlier spent 20 agonizing minutes on the telephone with a police dispatcher while two armed creeps were trying to force their way into her home. Finally they succeeded in this home invasion threatening young Sarah McKinley (pictured above) who was forced to shoot and kill one of the intruders. Thankfully she was armed with a revolver and a shotgun.

That story got a lot of press attention only because deadly force was actually used.

There are many millions of other similar crimes that are simply interrupted when potential victims are armed and threaten cowardly thugs that flee for their lives. Those cases never get media attention because there’s no blood on the sidewalk to photograph and sensationalize.

The founders of this nation gave gun rights to Americans so that citizens need not fear criminals without and within our government.

We must purge every last political traitor that tampers with the basic human right to self-defense.

Phoenix Broadcasting Icon and Mentor Bill Heywood and Wife Found Dead

Scottsdale, AZ—One of the fathers of Phoenix radio broadcasting, Bill Heywood and his wife Susan were both found dead from gunshot wounds in a hotel here.

Heywood had the perfect mellow voice and could talk sensibly to a microphone about nothing for hours. He was considered a broadcasting pro and seemed destined to work forever in his well-paying high profile gig. He always had a warm smile in his voice and never dared utter a discouraging word. All of that changed.

Radio audiences dwindled but for drive time. Formats changed from music to hot-button talk shows. The local disk jockeys like Heywood were replaced by syndicated talent and forced out of the business. Heywood was washed up well before his time and then went into real estate just in time to see that industry tank too.

Heywood’s wife, Susan was his agent and with her primary client out of work she was idled too. Along the way were collection lawsuits, the foreclosure of their comfortable Biltmore Estates home and a Bankruptcy. Health insurance was another disaster as Susan began to suffer.

For the Heywoods there was no way out as hope and our economy failed them. They had suffered enough so after leaving a suicide note they shared a gun to end their misery.

I wish there was a lesson here we could all learn but there’s not. The reality is the Heywoods somehow deserved better but it’s a very tough world for so many. Perhaps the religious people are right and there’s a hereafter with no troubles or stress. I hope that’s the case and they can once again enjoy laughter.

You survived the deadly shooting and suddenly your next grave threat is inside the Criminal Justice System

Phoenix, AZ—It’s appropriate that we get specific to Arizona because they have a much better tolerance for people that use deadly force in self-defense or the defense of a third person. This is about the Golden Hours between and arrest and an Indictment by a Grand Jury. Once you’re arrested or otherwise labeled as a suspect the race begins to indict you for, Manslaughter or even Murder.

Needless to say you’ve not uttered a word to police beyond your name, date of birth along with a request for a lawyer.

The Golden Hours is a tiny time period where you can defeat a prosecution and spare yourself and family from Bankruptcy, divorce, home foreclosure, car repossession and even years in prison. Depending on complications prosecutors could secure an Indictment against you in just a day or two.

Aside from being a gun rights leader of our nation, Arizona has solid protections from abusive arrest and prosecution as well additional protection from bogus lawsuits. Just because that’s the law does not mean you will be spared a spin at the Wheel of Judicial Misfortune.

Judges, lawyers and prosecutors all think they understand the dynamics of lethal self-defense. They fact is most only got they education from Hollywood productions. Just because they are in the criminal justice business does not mean they understand what happened in a fight for someone’s life.

Unfortunately criminal defense lawyers are sometimes little help because real self-defense cases are very rare in the system. Assumptions are made that the violent event is the product of an argument rather than an attack based on race, robbery, mistaken identity, rape or a violent over-reaction to a driving infraction on some highway.

For example you shot a carjacker in the back. The police and prosecutors may understandably believe you simply played God and executed the hapless criminal. There are various things that happen in the split second of a shooting and a self-defense expert can often give a convincing explanation for the back wound. You can wait two or three years for a criminal trial and a jury to decide your fate or you can make a case before a Grand Jury.

These two case cites, are the law that creates your golden hours:

Herrell v. Sargeant, 189 Ariz. 627 (1997) holding that the state's failure to present a fair and impartial presentation to the grand jury of the facts that related to the justification of crime prevention required that the case be sent back to the grand jury.

Trebus v. Davis, 189 Ariz. 62 (1997) holding conditions where the state must inform the grand jury that the defendant is requesting to testify to the grand jury. The state must also present exculpatory information sent by the defense in a letter to the prosecutor.

The Trebus case is about a suspect giving testimony before the Grand Jury. Such testimony is nearly always a terrible idea and must be avoided. Trebus does force prosecutors to fairly present exculpatory information to a Grand Jury empowered to determine if you should stand trial on a felony accusation. Having a lawyer present Trebus material to a prosecutor is critical. Saying that, too many lawyers routinely let those Golden Hours slip away ignoring Trebus.

The big question is how can you save yourself from an unnecessary Indictment and criminal trial with the help of Trebus? That’s where I come in as a criminal defense private investigator.

First I must be called, retained and let loose to do my job. Your lawyer if you have one will be busy trying to arrange your bail. My responsibility is to respond to the scene and investigate on your behalf. I need to find possible witnesses and interview them right away on video or digital media before their stories get spun to what prosecutors want to hear.

I have to examine the scene of the incident looking for things the cops missed like, surveillance video sources, shell casings or suspected blood. I need to shoot still photos and video of the scene so defense lawyers can see what was there. Getting out late to a scene may be disastrous especially in construction areas.

I need to find those witnesses that the cops blew off because their stories did not match what they wanted to hear. Believe me that happens all the time. Either I find them early or they may never be found. I also must examine the backgrounds of witnesses for criminal or civil fraud history.

Police and prosecutors almost never turn over witness statements or for that matter any evidence to the defense until more than a month after an Indictment when it’s way too late to use this information.

I have to see what material the cops gave to the news media because often I find gold in what they provided to them and sometimes more importantly withheld. Police agencies love to flood the media with self-serving press releases about their “heroic” deeds connected with high profile arrests. Yes, any self-defense type shooting will qualify as high profile.

I have to remain in constant contact with your lawyer during the Golden Hours to make sure nothing is overlooked.

What happens next is any helpful information I find is reduced to writing in a “Trebus Letter” and delivered to the prosecutors before the Grand Jury is convened. Let me also say prosecutors are not necessarily evil; even they don’t like prosecuting innocent people. There are those cases where prosecutors want a jury to decide if your use of deadly force was really justified. The only problem is that may take years and all of your worldly assets.

I have seen more than one person jailed for years only to be tried and acquitted having lost everything while they were in jail pending trial. They leave the jail wearing the same clothes they had on when they were arrested. How sad is that?

The L.A. Arson Case get’s Stranger by the Second and Very Sad

Hollywood, CA—Harry Burkhart, 24 lived with his 53 year-old mother, Dorothee Burkhart on Sunset Blvd. Apparently they ran a sex entertainment business website called HollywoodTantraMassage.com. They advertised sex services just short of prostitution. Dorothee Burkhart is seen here in a photo from that website.

Dorothy was arrested by the feds on a German theft warrant related to non-payment for a boob job and some fraud related to apartment rentals. On it’s face it looks to be an issue of a fugitive from German justice who was visiting here on a 90-day tourist permit.

When Harry’s mother was taken away by authorities on December 28, he was suspected of engaging in a 53 fire arson spree.

Apparently Harry’s story is far more complicated since a physician had previously diagnosed him as autistic along with suffering with Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome and other issues. Harry Burkhart was obviously in a major state of panic without his only support. Acting out through the dangerous arson spree was obviously a desperate cry for help.

Considering Harry’s being stranded in a foreign country his world was coming to an end. We can’t hold Harry responsible for his mother’s conduct and apparently his own conduct may well be beyond his control too.

My thoughts are to return both mother and son to Germany under the circumstances. I know Germany will obtain the proper treatment for Harry as his mother faces the music for the allegations against her.

Harry’s arson spree was horrible costing some $3 million dollars. Thankfully nobody died. Isolating Harry Burkhart in an American prison under these circumstances would do far more harm than good.

Harry will face a judge in Van Nuys Wednesday morning and his mother has another date with a federal magistrate on Friday. They both need lawyers. Neither has a particularly good command of the English language.

Was it Immigration Injustice that motivated the Los Angeles Arson Fires?

Los Angeles, CA—We have an immigration law long on the books but we also have a government run by Communists and Socialists. These criminals simply obstruct justice by providing sanctuary for certain illegal immigrants.

Our officials allow for the tsunami style importation of crime poverty and drugs from all of Mexico and Central America. Additionally these same traitors have opened our borders to millions of Muslims from nations wanting to destroy us.

This engineered and illegal immigration policy has destroyed our health care and educational system by overloading it with Hispanic and Muslim freeloaders. Our “elected” insurgents are intentionally destroying our entire economy and our free market.

Most Americans are unaware that our Immigration policy is much different for English speaking, educated and wealthy Europeans wanting to live here. To begin with the Europeans follow our laws and cooperate with Immigration officials. For that, they are rewarded with instant deportation. It’s far more difficult for a European to immigrate to our soil even though they always pay their own way.

The 55 arson fires set in three short days may have been set by a German national over the treatment by our government of his mother. For me it is very understandable that this German fellow apparently used arson to call attention to the deportation of his elderly mother. I can’t forgive his crimes but understand the anger at the blanket discrimination against Europeans.

Our officials simply refuse to enforce and apply all immigration laws on an equal basis. The government assisted the massive Hispanic immigration invasion of our nation is for one reason alone. It’s to change the balance of values, culture and power to favor Socialism.

I don’t blame the immigrants. It was the insurgents and terrorists in our own government that have done all they could to succeed as they have in this bloodless coup d'état.

Now these same Communist insurgents have declared war on Americans, our freedom and way of life through the Patriot Act, TSA terror and the new government power of indefinite detention without trial of American citizens. They also ended the prohibition of the military performing police functions over Americans on their own soil. These are the tools of an iron fisted police state.

The victims of Nazi, Chinese, Soviet and Cambodian atrocities all cooperated and could not visualize what was happening to them. They failed to resist and that failure facilitated Holocaust after Holocaust. The time to resist government tyranny is now. Waiting for a political fix for tyranny never works. Tyrants must be severely punished right now or we will never have another chance.

You can simply cooperate your way to your death camp or you can stop the bastards cold in their tracks before they disarm and murder you. Our own government has given itself absolute power and our funding fathers are rolling over in their graves right now.

An immigration official recognized the suspect from his mother's deportation hearing and notified the Sheriff's department and LAPD. He is being held on a $250,000.00 bail. His name is Harry Burkhart, 24. His DOB is 7/21/87 and he's due in court on Wednesday.

Los Angeles is Under an Arson Siege. Is this Terrorism?

Los Angeles, CA—In a world where the word terrorism is misused to describe schoolyard children threatening each other there are real threats. Our government has been using scare tactics to justify eliminating privacy and liberty exactly like Nazi regime did during the Third Reich. Josef Goebbels and Obams’s former Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel both understood the power grabbing benefits of crisis exploitation.

What’s very real here are some 40 similar arson fires apparently started in building carports. The fires include Hollywood, West Hollywood, Sherman Oaks, Burbank Sun Valley and at least one on the Westside of L.A. If this is the product of a single arsonist he is prolific, busy and very dangerous.

Today they released a grainy video of an older heavy, pony tail wearing, White male with a resemblance to the legendary rocker, Meatloaf. Police say unknown subject is a “person of interest”. Cops also say the same subject has been seen at more than one of the arson fires.

Arson is a peculiar crime that can have numerous motives including sexual release. Revenge, insurance fraud or an attempt to cover-up some other crime are the most common motives.

Arsonists leave signatures behind and that’s usually their undoing. We are in age of video surveillance and police may have much more incriminating video of their ‘person of interest” they are ready to disclose. Details of the method used to ignite the fires ,is being kept secret by police as not to taint the interrogation process should they bag a suspect.

Video surveillance cameras are cheaper and better than ever and should be freely used by property owners. It’s important to keep carport areas free from rubbish and flammable materials. Motion detectors that activate lights and alarms are advisable. Vigilance is important. There are never enough police to prevent crime.

Every state allows the use deadly force to stop an arsonist. You don’t need to make demands he stop the attempt before you shoot. Shooting an arsonist is generally a good idea but confessing such an event to police is not.

Could this be genuine terrorism? It’s too early to say

Before Steven Speilberg there was Leni Riefenstahl!

Berlin, Germany—As a film lover and novice filmmaker I am beyond fascinated and spellbound by a truly amazing woman. She was an athlete, rock climber, mountain climber, dancer, actor, photographer, filmmaker, writer, scuba diver and major artist. This woman was gifted, talented and downright gorgeous.

Leni Riefenstahl was born in 1902 in this great city. Riefenstahl was raised in prosperity and rather than follow in her father’s business footstep chose to make her mark in performance and art. Riefenstahl was a strikingly beautiful contemporary of fellow actress Marlene Dietrich.

Riefenstahl had a problem, this incredibly lady had to master absolutely everything she ever tried. She made it her goal to do everything perfectly. She failed at nothing and was redundantly proven to be fearless.

As a budding filmmaker she was nothing less than a major pioneer that invented cinema techniques still being used today. She’d go to any length to create an exciting film shot out of the most ordinary human movement. Riefenstahl created cranes, rails and every conceivable kind of device to capture nearly impossible cinematic shots.

She attended one Nazi Party rally and like most of the world at that time, she admired Adolph Hitler as a potential savior of Germany. Her goal was always to gain opportunities to act, perform and make films. Hitler and his propaganda minister, Josef Goebbels was mesmerized by the exceptional young woman and invited her into what became an incredible nightmare.

Riefenstahl made a film that showcased the Third Reich called, Triumph des Willens or Triumph of the Will. The film was a documentary of feature film proportions that was made in Nuremberg. The film was a masterpiece of precession and military pageantry. Today the film is banned in Germany as a result of aggressive de-Naziification. For Riefenstahl this was more about art and filmmaking than documenting the birth of what would later become a ruthless, cruel and monstrous political regime.

In 1936 Riefenstahl created 200 miles of film to show the world the Olympics. Her film never once slighted America’s black athletic wonder, Jessie Owens of his stunning victory. With her films Olympia I and 2, Riefenstahl became the quintessential sports filmmaker that is still the role model of every sports photographer or filmmaker worldwide.

Josef Goebbels understandably wanted to make a mistress out of Riefenstahl but the truth was that she found him unattractive. To Riefenstahl's chagrin, Goebbels embellished their “friendship” in his personal diaries.

The war ended and despite the fact that Riefenstahl never once placed an anti-Semitic scene in her films or let such a word to pass her lips was arrested and put on trial. Her career was over and the best years of her life were just beginning. Riefenstahl was condemned, castigated and blackballed. Rather than to accept total defeat Riefenstahl went to Africa and began filming primitive tribes and even pursued groundbreaking oceanographic filmmaking. She never found real success again as the cinema legend she truly was.

Like all German civilians Riefenstahl was misled by the criminals running her government and only learned about the death camps after the war ended. This gifted artist was soon blamed for creating Hitler’s image and allowing him to seduce the world through her films. Unfortunately the world still remains ignorant of the truth nearly a decade after her death at the age of 101.

Identification requirements for voting and buying a gun should be the same

Washington, DC—Possessing firearms and voting are considered rights. To obtain a firearm from a licensed dealer a citizen must provide solid documentation of identification. Falsifying the gun purchase forms carries significant felony punishments. To vote no Identification is required and falsification carries little or no punishment.

Someone please explain to me why there should be any difference in the requirements to exercise these two rights?

Of course the Leftists have had a 60-year lock on Congress. Those Leftists hate gun rights but want to extend to every third world needy trespasser the ability to vote because they’re unskilled, uneducated and needy and all beg for redistribution of the wealth.

Looking at the map above you can see that voter identification is never required in Leftist run states. Just try buying a gun in any state without ID.

All rights should be equal in America. Some rights are more equal than others.

2011 Wraps for Crimefile News, the Best and the Worst of the Year

These days I live my life adventure to adventure never knowing what’s ahead. At the end of this year I have an inventory report of the best and the worst for my visitors.

Let me begin with the best gift of 2011. They developed new hearing aids for me that returned my ability to fully function again. I had a difficult period of several because hearing loss where my old technology hearing aids did not deliver.

The best adventure of 2011 for me was last March when I was invited to attend the Human Rights Film Festival in Geneva. I worked for over a year on a Le Flair Productions documentary film on the 1989 wrongful arrest, conviction and Death Sentence of Debra Milke in Phoenix, Arizona. This was my second trip there since I was brought to Geneva and Berlin earlier for the production efforts.

The film premiered in Geneva where I spent a week and for the rest of the month I traveled to Berlin and was hosted by my terrific friends there. I love Europe, especially Germany and can never get enough of its rich history, culture and class. I can’t wait to return. More importantly, I hope that 2012 brings justice and a new life of freedom for Debra Milke.

I want to thank all my wonderful friends in Lausanne, Switzerland at Le Flair Productions that made this adventure possible.

The second best adventure was being called into helping Scottsdale lawyer, Dave Appleton who was attacked by an angry motorist that chased him cornering him in a mall parking lot and began choking him. That altercation ended in a justifiable shooting but the Scottsdale police somehow got it wrong arresting Appleton for murder. We were able to get some important evidence to the prosecutors who did the right thing by dismissing the charge under among other things, Arizona’s rather strong, “Castle Doctrine” self-defense law.

Other adventures included attending the SHOT Show in Las, Vegas and the NRA Convention in Pittsburgh spending time with lots of guns and great friends developed over the last four decades.

I got to spend a lot of time with Chicago’s Uber-Lawyer, Jed Stone on some important criminal cases. Jed is one of the finest lawyers I ever had the pleasure of learning from or working with.

I was also lucky to spend some time with another top Chicago litigator, Joel Brodsky who is probably best known for representing retired Bolingbrook police sergeant Drew Peterson accused of murder. Brodsky was able to get a bogus but serious felony gun charge against Peterson thrown out. If Brodsky can just succeed in getting Peterson his day in court that nightmare will be over too.

As for the worst part of 2011 was to see a good Chicago cop get falsely convicted of a crime. That was as a result of a very corrupt prosecution and bench trial in the Circuit Court of Cook, County, Illinois. Cook County always has been and always will be a total corruption cesspool, managed by the most crooked politicians found anywhere.

Barack Obama has made his mark as the leader of a criminal regime during 2011. He’s given himself absolute power over Americans. Obama needs to be arrested, tried, convicted and punished for his Treason and Public Corruption.

Merry Christmas during Trying Times to My Blog Visitors

Los Angeles, CA—I’m here this year and won’t see any snow. I will however have fun anyway because this season is about friends, family and the most important part of our lives. Our faith, liberty and way of life have been challenged like never before in our lifetimes.

This Christmas has many Americans suffering because of unemployment and underemployment. The Socialist engineered destruction of our economy has placed millions of retirement pensions in certain jeopardy along with the Social Security Ponzi scheme.

We have a new American Marxist inspired culture of rewarding failure and punishing productivity that makes an economic recovery impossible.

The worst news story of the Christmas season was to see African-Americans resorting to nationwide savagery in order to waste their government entitlement cash on over-priced sneakers. Those shoes are nothing more than a twisted status symbol that won’t improve life. This demonstrates just what we can expect in the future where flash mob violence is becoming an everyday terror tool.

I don’t have any answers that don’t involve stiff resistance to the Obama Administration and their Socialist policies. We must get ready for severe tightening of our police state, suspension of the Bill of Rights and perhaps another Civil War is inevitable.

Our two political parties today are more reminiscent what existed in 1933’s Germany, the National Socialists and the Communists. The current GOP and Democratic parties have changed into something frightening and un-American. Both parties favor brute force war, the TSA and slavery by excessive taxation.

Our nation cannot continue without Civil War because there are too many Americans who will never relinquish their freedom, liberty and what so many patriots died to give us.

Real Americans must band together and learn how to say no to excessive government by the means allowed under our Constitution. Perhaps someday we can again have a Christmas season with liberty, safety, financial security happiness and love.

Nuremberg, Where Firearms Manufacturers Meet From Everywhere—March 9 thru 12, 2012

Nuremberg, Germany—This venerable and historic old city every March is the site of the International Arms Exposition or IWA. This is similar but just a bit smaller than the international SHOT Show most often held in Las Vegas, NV. The IWA Nuremberg show is split into a civilian sports section and a military and police area. Some 35,000 people visited over 1100 exhibits last year. There are also many exhibitors with exciting new products never seen before in the United States.

Aside from the show the real draw here for me are the sights, elegant women and food. Located in the state of Bavaria it’s just a two hour drive North of Munich and there is a lot to see if you can stay an additional week or more.

As for sights you will be able to visit the Hall of Justice where over a dozen trials were held bringing many Nazi to justice for War Crimes. Six-million Jews and Gypsies were murdered by the National Socialist regime but over nine-million Germans were annihilated as a result of Nazi tyranny. The penalty for any German citizen criticizing or revealing Nazi atrocities was certain death.

Nuremberg was considered the epicenter of the failed National Socialist movement. This was the place where the Nuremberg Race laws were born that stripped Jews of their citizenship enabling their deportation. As such this became the ideal place to try and hang Nazi tyrants that were convicted.

After Germany surrendered over 200,000 women and girls were savagely raped by the smelly, Communist Russian swine that took brutal control over much of Germany. These Russian criminals all escaped war crimes justice because of a willing accomplice, Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Somehow Germany rebuilt better than ever and became a great ally for America and the free world. The grand children and great grandchildren of this sad chapter in Germany history are an educated, social and creative bunch. They work, play, love and many enjoy collecting firearms and shooting like Americans.

IWA also exhibits state of the art firearms for police and military. Of course the technology of firearms has evolved little over the last century. They are prettier and somewhat better functioning today than they were in 1911. The best of the best can be seen and handled right here.

If you love history and firearms Nuremberg is the place to go. I must warn you that attendance to the IWA like the SHOT show is limited to people in the firearms trade and manufacturing businesses.

Saying all of this I’m looking for some company to send me to IWA for the show to work at marketing and or public relations. I speak German and know my way around this great nation.

Why Fly When You Can Avoid the TSA’s Goons?

Phoenix, AZ—Flying between Los Angeles and Las Vegas used to be a snap. Bargain air fares and the pleasure of having your friends see you off or meet you at the gate instead of baggage claim. Not anymore, TSA tyranny has arrived.

Today you must face a gauntlet of the lower form of life that is the TSA. They’re simply there to provide the illusion of security because they are not trained, equipped or even capable of providing real protection. This American insult comes with their zero tolerance policies that shred our rights to be free of unreasonable searches and our privacy.

The TSA has taken on all kinds of additional concerns such as drug laws and currency reporting violations that are in no way related to terrorism.

I will take the risky six-hour drive anytime instead of being miserable at the hands of the unemployable TSA thugs. There are other benefits such as the secure transportation of my personal firearms, computer and camera equipment. Additionally, I never need to rent a car once I arrive.

I’m not alone in my avoidance of air travel. Millions of people simply stay home rather than travel. This consumer reaction to TSA tyranny has had a huge and crippling impact on the entire travel and hospitality industry.

It would have been a lot more effective, smarter and tolerable if people traveling on passports from hostile nations were simply banned from traveling on our planes. That and simple profiling of passengers for terror risk factors. Every pilot should be trained and armed along with selected crew members. Sworn state and local police officers should be encouraged to fly with their side arms in exchange for reduced rate air fares.

The TSA will only support security measures that are expensive, unworkable and destructive to the American economy.

What You Need to Know About Martial Law, Internment and the Obama Administration

Washington, DC—The Obama Administration has done two dramatic things that give us insight into their future plans. Crazy, you say? The tools of every despot criminal regime are always the same.

Obama’s government has lifted the ban on military troops policing Americans. The Posse Comitatus Act was put in place just after our Civil War. Americans were so horribly abused by military troops this law was enacted to forever prevent the repetition of military tyranny on citizens. The law has been repealed by, Obama and his band of tyrants. The memory of the home invasions, rapes and arson by the military has faded long ago.

Obama’s government has given itself the power of arresting and holding Americans without, bail, lawyers, or trial. This was enacted as an “anti-terrorism” tool. Just what is terrorism? It’s something as insignificant as a kid making a mindless threat in a schoolyard. Terrorism allegations will begin with the simple exercise of speech that suggests resistance of any kind to government tyranny.

These two things seem small and are barely noticed by people that have never experienced government tyranny. Historically these two items enable every holocaust. In case you don’t know it, it’s governments that are the most prolific murderers of all time. Every government at one time or another in their history begins murdering their own citizens. These two un-American changes can only serve one purpose, tyranny.

For some reason everyone has been brainwashed into thinking Germany’s Nazi’s only targeted Jews and Gypsies. The reality is nine million ordinary Germans perished under Adolph Hitler in addition to the six million Jews and Gypsies. Hitler murdered his own citizens at an alarming rate.

For those people that think that Communism was somehow better, Russia’s Stalin killed as many or more than Hitler. Stalin did not keep detailed records of his crimes like Hitler. At the end of World War Two, Stalin’s troops raped over 2 million women and little girls during their occupation of Germany. You don’t hear much about Stalin’s war crimes because he had a willing accomplice, Franklin D. Roosevelt.

This is more about what you can expect when the military comes for you. They will forcibly remove you and your family from your home. They will place you in a sex segragated detention camp where people are concentrated tightly together for convenience of the government.

Medical care will be superficial or non-existent. Food will consist of military freeze dried rations or worse. Heating and cooling will so inefficient it will put children and the elderly at risk.

Because of the high concentration of people disease will spread like wildfire and the bodies of victims will stack up like cordwood. Additionally you can expect the government to place people together that can’t peaceably co-exist together because or cultural or racial differences and of course people will die as a result.

The government can be counted upon to allow thugs who are inmates just like you to have police authority over you. They will have clubs and better conditions as a reward for keeping you in line.

The gas chambers of Nazi death camps were hardly more efficient that concentrating people together like they did at the Wausau Ghetto in Poland. Of the six million Jews and Gypsies several million died from starvation, disease, freezing, beatings, shooting and of course suicide.

Barack Obama is the biggest threat to American lives simply because he has been given the time-tested tools to murder us. If we allow this traitor to maintain power we deserve what we get.

The motive for this kind of government tyranny is simply to loot the assets of the citizens. The appointed bureaucrats all can be sure of obtaining vast wealth by allowing the killing and plunder.

You can call me an alarmist all you want but history vindicates my position. Right behind Obama are hundreds of Communists, Socialist and Progressives (including many Republicans) with the same goals. Humans have a poor track record of resisting tyrannical governments. If you fail to resist and fight for your life while you can, perhaps you don’t deserve to live.

Meeting Actor Kenneth Branagh and a Review of his Film My Week With Marilyn

Los Angeles, CA fresh from a transcontinental flight British actor, Kenneth Branagh paid a visit to a Screen Actors Guild showing of his latest film and was interviewed for a small audience of fortunate SAG members. As a SAG member I must admit attending these SAG Foundation events is a real perk for me.

Branagh has a gift of a marvelous baritone voice that’s mixed with perfect diction of the King’s English. I approached him afterwards and called to him, “Herr General Von Trescow!.” That got a big smile as he beamed with pride for playing that role in the film Valkyrie.

I told him I want to see the tearjerker film of 21 year-old, anti-Nazi martyr Sophie Scholl remade for an English speaking audience. Sophie Scholl along with her brother Hans Scholl, and their friend Christophe Probst were discovered passing out anti-Nazi leaflets at the University of Munich in 1943. They were tried for Treason and beheaded on a guillotine at the Staddleheim prison. The complex role of Gestapo Inspector Mohr would be perfect for Branagh. Emma Watson is now the perfect age to Play Sophie Scholl.

Needless to say, Branagh is at the zenith of a great career and can do whatever we wants. He never fails his audience.

A for the film, “My Week With Marilyn”, I had no great expectations because two actors, Marilyn Monre and Sir Lawrence Oliver were to be mimicked. Usually I find actors do crappy impersonations of famous characters. This however was not the case. There were fine performances by an ensemble cast including , Michelle Williams, Eddie Redmayne, Judy Dench and an adorable, grown up Emma Watson from Harry Potter fame.

Redmayne plays a then 23 year old Colin Clark who by chance becomes a third-assistant film director on the film, The Prince and the Showgirl.” Clark meets the confused and vulnerable 30 year-old American actress just as her new playwright husband Arthur Miller abandons her in London. They had a short one-week, but hot romance that was the subject of the film.

The magic of the films is the collision of two quite opposite actors, Olivier and Monroe. Olivier is placed into a real love-hate relationship with Monroe who is suddenly thrust into a sea of British actors. Monroe goes through culture shock but is helped along the way by her new young lover, Clark.

Michelle Williams has a great career ahead of her. The film was excellent and worth the admission price. Both Branagh and Williams woke up this morning to learn that have been nominated for SAG Awards for their respective roles.

The Social Media Video Explosion is Underway

Chicago, IL—It took a huge investment to experiment with television when it was invented in the early 1950s. What eventually evolved is amazing. Today we have color, wide screen and high definition video that's nothing short of incredible. None of us can escape the lush rich video screens that are absolutely everywhere.

The tools to make quality content are incredibly inexpensive today. It takes little effort these days to make watchable content. Incredible empowerment exists to get your message, product or story out to a worldwide audience. It pays to use the new high quality equipment that available and learn how to captivate your audience with quality content.

Google and the other search engines do a great job of directing people to your content by subject matter. You can sell a service, product or anything at all and the cost for the Internet space is free. Any business that’s not taking full advantage of the ability to put video content up as a marketing tool is losing clients and customers.

Until now all advertising had no specific target. We especially loathed advertising for things we don’t need or want. Television commercials are generally very annoying for that reason. Today any business can directly target people that need and consume what they’re selling. Your potential customers are looking for what you have to offer.

Bloggers that don't create video for their visitors and shortchanging them. It is so easy to embed video right into any blog.

People involved in high profile court cases have a unique opportunity today. They can actually put up a video documentary that shows their side of the story. I’ve found that the vast majority of jurors simply ignore judge’s admonishments to avoid media and the Internet. Instead the jurors go out of their way to get the whole story, not just what they hear in court. Like it or not, that’s reality. Using the Social Media to influence court cases is just in its infancy. What Nancy Grace does on television can be countered through watchable video content. Remember Google will bring those jurors you want to influence to your content. There are plenty of semi-retired TV news producers willing to help you create what you need.

Why Do We Waste So Much Money on Cop Costumes for TSA Workers?

Washington, DC—We created the TSA in an effort to reduce terrorism in our commercial air transportation system. They have yet to claim a single event where their multi-billion dollar efforts have paid off. The only successful anti-terrorism efforts have been as the result of passengers taking the law into their own hands.

These people are not law enforcement officers. They have not met standards required of law enforcement officers such as intelligence testing, medical examinations or stringent background investigations. More importantly they have not attended nor passed the required training programs of law enforcement officers.

Our government has created a theater of illusions called the Transportation security Administration. TSA programs to stifle terrorism are acceptable only if they are ineffective; violate the rights Americans and they allow people with passports from unfriendly nations to fly in our airplanes.

Part of the TSA security illusion was to make the marginable people hired to screen baggage look like cops. We all know they are part of a government make work, jobs program. We know they are not cops so why the expensive masquerade? We could save a bundle by putting these people in orange jumpsuits with big TSA letters on their backs. They have ID cards to prove they are baggage screeners why the gold police style badges? Those badges are very expensive.

We really don’t need the TSA. We could replace the screening with some legitimate profiling by sworn and trained cops. We could arm the pilots and some selected crew members. We should encourage local cops with standard training to fly while armed for half-price fares.

We could replace the TSA with real meaningful security. By the way did you know the pilots who are armed must now carry their service pistols in cumbersome locked security boxes? I guess the idea is for the pilots to use the boxes as they would a club. I guess giving hijackers a headache beats nothing.

Chicago Police Understaffing Requires a New Look at Concealed Weapons Legalization

Chicago, IL—I really don’t care what the excuse is for the shortage of Chicago police officers. The Daley Administration squandered every tax dime they could. They went on to tax all of the productive people and their businesses right out of the city. There is no cure in sight and at some point bankruptcy is inevitable for the Windy City.

Understandably they can’t hire and train cops to fight crime. Thankfully the temporary fix of winter weather will do more to keep dangerous criminals off the streets than the demoralized, outgunned and undermanned police department. In the meantime aging cops are retiring at a record pace.

Chicagoans have a right to be safe on the streets and in their homes and businesses and the only meaningful solution left is self-help.

Today 49 other states allow for concealed weapons to be carried by the law-abiding for self-defense. People have been allowed to carry loaded firearms and the sky has not fallen. What has happened is millions of crimes have been prevented without even firing a shot. Criminals are simply too cowardly to take on armed citizens.

Training that begins with conflict avoidance, safety, marksmanship along with the laws and liability of the justifiable use of deadly force must be made available to the law-abiding. The law-abiding should be encouraged to obtain and carry reliable firearms so they can protect themselves, families and businesses.

Chicagoans can’t rely on police for protection when the department is at full strength. Now a depressed economy with more criminals than ever and fewer cops it is unreasonable to deny citizens the right of self-defense. The door is also opened for anyone arrested for carrying weapons to use the necessity defense in court.

Let’s face it the cops can barely keep up with responding to crimes after they happen under normal conditions. Pro-active and preventative police work simply does not exist.

The government has become an accessory to criminals by holding victims down for thugs that rape, rob and murder. The law-abiding citizens of Chicago and Illinois should not tolerate these conditions.

America Needs More Politicians Like Bill Rosendahl of The Los Angeles City Council

Los Angeles, CA—In this land of crazies and Bolsheviks they are just like the politicians they have chosen. For the most part they are a grandstanding bunch fighting to prove who can destroy the American way of life the fastest. If I seem unfriendly to these elected officials it’s because they have earned my disrespect, as did those who voted for them.

Along the way you meet some rare politicians that actually deserve to breathe our air and have earned their paychecks. City Councilmember Bill Rosendahl of the 11th Westside district is a rare one.

Rosendahl surprised me when I learned he was drafted into the U.S. Army and served proudly and honorably at the same time I did during the Viet Nam War. Rosendahl could have easily avoided the draft since he is Gay. Instead he served this great nation and kept his sex life private.

Being Gay in Los Angeles is not a liability for any politician on the contrary it has wide voter appeal. I have learned long ago that Gay people contribute to society in every walk of life and deserve to be treated with dignity. Yes, I have Gay friends and don’t feel threated by their existence.

Being an Army veteran myself I often attend Veteran’s events and always see Bill Rosendahl there trying to learn the needs of our nation’s heroes. Rosendahl is a lone political voice on this part of the country fighting to protect land and services set aside for these men and women granted to them during times in our history where military service was more appreciated.

Right now men and women are returning from prolonged combat duty in the Mideast with no marketable skills. Some have obvious injuries and others are sitting on dark secrets of depression and undiagnosed Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome. Every one of those patriots, need desperately to become reintegrated into a peaceful society and given a helping hand with jobs and training.

America’s priorities have changed, rather than helping our veterans too many of our politicians want to help illegal immigrants with free citizenship and handouts. We have allowed our politicians to bankrupt our healthcare institutions and schools providing services to greater Mexico and Central America. These same politicians could care less about the men and women making huge sacrifices for our way of life.

There are lots of needy people on our world but priorities should demand that the defenders of our freedom never be shortchanged.

Bill Rosendahl is at the front fighting for veterans everyday. I also have seen this man out on the street of his district asking every citizen in his district not for their support for him but about their personal needs.

I’m sure there are plenty of things I might disagree with Rosendahl about, however his commitment to our nation’s fighting men and women deserves support.

Is The Death of Drew Peterson’s Fourth Wife Greatly Exaggerated?

Bolingbrook, IL—Over four years ago Stacy Ann Peterson vanished. It was no secret that she had been complaining of marital problems with her much older police sergeant husband, Drew Peterson.

Peterson who had a noted preference for younger female companionship was in his fourth failed marriage. His third estranged wife, Kathleen Savio died in her bathtub in the safety of her own locked home. That death was investigated and ruled as an accident. Savio had recently changed the locks and Drew Peterson had no keys to Savio’s home.

After Stacy Peterson disappeared the investigation of Savio’s death was re-opened and re-classified as a murder on paper-thin evidence. Drew Peterson has been jailed on a $20 million bail bond for over three years. Peterson has been locked up without trial in the style of some rogue, Fascist government rather than a nation with a Bill of Rights.

Will County State’s Attorney, James Glasgow successfully lobbied the dull-witted folks that make up the Illinois General Assembly for a new and special law. The law was aimed at allowing long-banned hearsay testimony to be heard in an American courtroom. This new law was passed and has the moniker of the Drew Peterson Law. I guess whatever worked for the People’s Court of the Third Reich (1933-1945) is now somehow good enough for Illinois.

Hearsay evidence is fun because it automatically doubles the chance that the statement produced is a lie. Did the person being quoted lie or is it the person providing the hearsay making it up? Additionally if everyone was telling the truth or is the person providing the quote mistaken about the line? Hearsay does not belong in an American Courtroom but more hearsay exceptions are allowed just as all our hard won freedoms have slipped away over the years.

Is the Savio murder allegation against Drew Peterson really more about the missing Stacy Peterson? Stacy allegedly confided in several people telling them she wanted to leave her husband. According to Mike Kurdenok of Coal City, IL, Stacy told him during an after school date that she wanted to, “Slip away before Drew woke up.” Kurdenok made it clear that Stacy did not want to be found! Of course, I have serious questions for this man who was out drinking with Peterson’s young bride.

Is Stacy Peterson alive? They have written her off as dead long ago. Many have bolstered that argument with suggestions that Stacy would have never voluntarily left her children. None of us know for sure where Stacy is today. We can only guess.

People disappear from the radar all the time. They avoid friends, family and even their young children. Fugitives have been found often many decades after authorities that have diligently searched for them. Some are never found.

Take the recent resurfacing of a Stanwood, WA woman, Judith Bello. Bello left her three year-old, son vanishing in 1993. Police, friends and relatives searched for the woman in vain. The presumptions were that she was murdered since they all concluded she’d never leave her little boy.

The reality was she skipped out on her former life and child moving to California. After seeing a television "cold case" spot about her disappearance and presumed death due to foul play Bello called authorities ending the two-decade old mystery. The Bello case is just one of many.

As a private investigator I search for missing people and have found that women can hide much easier then men. Women often take the name of male companions without marriage ceremonies. Often in relationships one partner will borrow the identity of the other for employment purposes. Marty Ryan has a Social Security number and hooks up with Mary. Mary applies for and gets work as M. Ryan using Marty’s Social Security number. Marty may even get a significant boost in benefits as a result of the scam.

Women get significantly less police attention then men in our world. Stacy Peterson could easily be alive and happy to have shed the responsibility that her children brought. We don’t know for sure about Stacy and to assume Peterson murdered her is wrong.

Those who have judged Peterson most harshly are unhappy with his penchant for much younger women and his failure as a husband. Does that somehow make Peterson a cold-blooded killer?

Keeping any citizen locked up without a trial is un-American. Using hearsay evidence to secure a conviction is a sign that America has become a Police State.

Information Needed On Scottsdale Justifiable Homicide

Scottsdale, AZ—The November 10th fatal shooting behind the CVS pharmacy at Pima and Pinnacle Peak Roads is still under investigation by the defense team headed by Phoenix attorney, Richard D. Gierloff.

There are still unanswered questions about battery and used golf cart store proprietor, Paul “Tom” Pearson, 50 (DOB 02-17-61), his habits and business dealings.

Don’t assume for a second that the information you may possess is already known. Please, out of simple fairness and necessity please share it with the defense team.

Thomas' personal vehicle sported a dealer’s plate registered to his battery business that is a licensed motor vehicle dealership. The problem is they were not selling cars. Such use of a dealer’s plate is in violation of state law.

There are many unanswered questions bout Pearson and why he used his own three-ton vehicle as a deadly weapon threatening David Appleton for nearly two miles in busy Scottsdale traffic.

Scottsdale Police Released the 911 Tape and Initial Reports on Scottsdale Justifiable Homicide

Scottsdale, AZ—As soon as Scottsdale police arrested long time lawyer David Appleton, sordid half-truths, lies and damn lies began to surface. The arrest was not backed by any evidence of a crime.

A detective simply refused to accept the only living witness’ account of the violent assault and justifiable use of deadly force. The evidence shows that the dead man Paul “Tom” Pearson was responsible for his own sudden demise.

Facts:
1. The dead man was felled by a close to contact bullet wound to the chest.
2. Blood was observed on Appleton’s driver’s side door at on the ground with the fatally wounded assailant.
3. The dead man reportedly told his cousin over the phone that he was chasing someone that ran a traffic control device. That conversation ended with the dead man making a challenge, “You won’t shoot me with that gun!” That challenge was made as Appleton’s attacker had his massive hand squeezing his throat.
4. Police falsely stated there was no sign of injury or the attack that Appleton told them about. Police covered-up the fact that Appleton’s torn shirt and ripped off buttons were located and impounded for the crime lab by police.
5. Pearson’s wife Vicki told police that her husband had called her telling her he was coming straight home from work. She told police she did not understand why her husband would pass their home at Los Gatos and Pima Roads and continue for another mile to the CVS store.
6. Rather than take Appleton to a physician police simply diagnosed the 59 year-old lawyer as uninjured. Symptoms of strangulation are easily observed by any qualified physician if they would bother to have him examined.

Arizona’s Castle Doctrine allows deadly force to be used against anyone trying to enter or extract a person from a motor vehicle they occupy. Pearson’s criminal assault resulted in his death.

This is nothing more than a sad tale of a highway bully taking his rage out on a smaller and older man. Had Pearson simply been able to control his temper and make that turn into the Los Gatos development where his family was waiting for him he’d still be alive today.

Listening to the 911 call made by Appleton tells volumes about how he responsibly did all he could to help the man that attacked him after he was felled by a single shot.

The Scottsdale Justifiable Homicide, an Analysis of a Tragedy

Scottsdale, AZ—I must say every driver has experienced the rude or inconsiderate motorist make offensive or even dangerous maneuvers. Many of us feel there’s never a cop around when you need one. The urge to take the law into our own hands is one that fortunately passes quickly for most of us.

The event of November 10th at Pima and Pinnacle Peak Roads killed one man and changed the life of another forever. Valley Battery, and used golf cart shop proprietor Paul “Tom” Pearson, 50 apparently became angered at a maneuver of David Appleton, 59 a lawyer. Pearson chased Appleton North on Pima Road passing his by own home on Los Gatos for more than a mile. Pearson caught up with Appleton who fled into the strip mall containing a CVS store to hide from Pearson. That failed when Pearson quickly located his prey.

The larger and younger Pearson quickly exited his vehicle and aggressively charged up to Appleton’s driver’s side car window. Pearson grabbed Appleton by his shirt and throat effectively strangling the older man. Appleton produced a small revolver to deter the younger, obviously athletic and larger stranger. When the sight of the gun did not seem to faze Pearson, Appleton’s options ran out and a single gunshot felled Pearson.

Under the Arizona Castle Doctrine, the law is clear citizen’s have the absolute right to use deadly force to end efforts to invade the motor vehicles they occupy. That right also allows the use of deadly force to prevent any attempts to forcibly extract occupants of a motor vehicle.

Scottsdale police suggest that Appleton was the aggressor despite the fact that the lawyer’s shirt was ripped and buttons were torn away. When police arrived they found Pearson unconscious but still clinging to life next to Appleton’s driver’s door.

Scottsdale police have refused to turn over the 911 tapes of this incident to the media. The withholding of this vital and public information is both curious and suspect

The detective interviewed the cooperative lawyer and without an additional eyewitness, surveillance video and chose not to believe what he was told.

Appleton has no history of violence or participation in contact sports. He’s a scholarly man who does his combat on paper in legal briefs or in courtrooms. Appleton was obviously very afraid of the bully who was choking him. I guess the homicide detective that decided to arrest Appleton went to a different police academy than I did.

Pearson’s temper got the best of him and that lapse cost him his life. More than that, Pearson’s failure left his beautiful wife Vicki along with his three daughters to fend without him forever. I can tell you for sure that these fine young women are in Appleton’s prayers and will be for the rest of his life.

There is no crime here on Appleton’s part but nonetheless; this is a life-changing event for this senior lawyer.

For now this case will be under the watchful eye of the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. They must carefully review the results of the Medical Examiner and toxicology reports, crime lab findings and other evidence to make a final determination whether to bring a criminal charge.

Both Pearson and Appleton have strong supporters and right now emotions are high on both sides. This will all be decided on the simple words of Arizona’s Castle Doctrine that spells out the justifiable use of deadly force.

There is a strong lesson here for every motorist. Courtesy can be as contagious as is a great smile. Anger has no place on our highways.

Murder Charges Dismissed Against Scottsdale Lawyer David Appleton

Phoenix, AZ—David Appleton has had a very rough and expensive week. Last Thursday night the 59 year-old lawyer was chased down Pima Road by an angry driver who cornered him behind a drug store, jumped out of his vehicle and attempted to strangle him. Appleton apparently produced a .38 revolver in an effort to halt the attack. When the sight of the gun had no effect on his younger assailant a single shot ended the life of an angry, Paul “Tom” Pearson.

Scottsdale police refused to believe Appleton’s claims of self-defense and arrested him on murder charges. The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office reviewed the known facts and physical evidence and found there was insufficient evidence to support the charges. Prosecutors motioned the court this morning to dismiss the direct complaint.

Should the Scottsdale police find enough evidence for probable cause they may bring it forward to prosecutors for prosecution. For now Dave Appleton is free.

Everyone in the defense side of this case including David Appleton recognize the sorrow that Pearson’s wife and three daughters are going through right now. I think it’s fair to say that Pearson had a good side that his family and friends will miss. I hope that his family is able to move on and experience success and love that Pearson surely would have wanted for them.

There is a lesson to learn here and that’s to try and ignore those drivers that irritate all of us. Arizona gives motorists the same protection and people have in their homes. Deadly force can be used to prevent crimes and assaults in cars as well as homes. Conflict avoidance is always the best policy.

Scottsdale Police Investigation of Road Rage Homicide is Lacking

Scottsdale, AZ—Last Thursday nights fatal shooting at Pima and Pinnacle Peak Roads outside of the CVS Drug Store needs further investigation.

With minimal evidence cops chose to arrest long time Scottsdale lawyer David Appleton, 59 for murder in connection with the fatal shooting of Paul “Tom” Pearson, 50. The facts are that Pearson took offense to Appleton’s driving and decided to chase down and assault the older lawyer.

Apparently Pearson selected the wrong person to place in a martial arts sleeper hold. The lawyer was lawfully armed with a .38 caliber revolver and shot his assailant in obvious self-defense.

Appleton is not without friends that know he is a gentle and reasonable man. These folks met me at the scene of the shooting to speak of for their friend.

Additionally these folks also expressed sadness for the dead man’s family saying this tragedy did not have to happen if Pearson simply let pass whatever driving failure he had witnessed. You can’t simply reach through the driver’s window and choke out every crappy driver.

The question remains if County Attorney Bill Montgomery will follow through with a prosecution of David Appleton. You can indict a ham sandwich for anything these days but fairness must prevail.

Arizona Lawyer Charged With Murder, But Was It Justifiable Homicide?

Scottsdale, AZ—Long time lawyer Dave Appleton, 59 apparently called police for help because a motorist had chased him and threatened him with a motor vehicle. The chase ended in a fatal shooting at a CVS pharmacy parking lot at Pima and Pinnacle Peak Roads @ 7:30 PM.

The aggressor, Paul "Tom" Pearson, 50, attacked Appleton through the window of his Toyota SUV. Soon thereafter the Pearson lay dead from a single gunshot. Police grilled Appleton for hours and finally charged him with Second Degree Murder despite a claim to self-defense. Appleton told police the younger man was trying to strangle him.

I’ve known Appleton for 25 years and found him to be a bookish and gentle soul. He is hardly a combatant and I know him to be reasonable and anything but aggressive. He’s not the kind of guy that would flip off another driver with a middle finger or look for trouble. I can't imagine him hurting a soul unless he was in fear of his life.

I suspect that a lot of people know about the dead assailant and I’m asking for any and all information that would assist Appleton in getting a fair trial.

It will take a while to get the toxicological report that would disclose what was fueling Appleton’s attacker.

West Covina Cops In Hot Water For Film Making

West Covina, CA—In this Los Angeles suburb, there is a major scandal! It seems actors wearing police uniforms, driving city owned cars made a little spoof film and posted it on YouTube. Real cops are suspected with involvement in this major transgression.

The city’s politicians were not amused and began an investigation. The beef is the “misuse” of city equipment and working without a film permit required for commercial productions.

I’m sorry, I see don’t see anythinging wrong unless there is a legitimate victim. This should happen more often especially since the equipment and software is so inexpensive and easy to use. Conrad Murray Verdict Is In

Los Angeles, CA—The loonies are all over the Criminal Court Building at 210 Temple Street. This is the location of many high profile trials that attract idle and pathetic people who apparently need to get a life. They chant, carry signs and demand guilty verdicts and punitive maximum penalties. They absolutely have a First Amendment rights to show their ugly ignorance.

Anyone observing a criminal trial who would pray for a guilty verdict or cheer if one was reached needs serious mental health treatment.

The jury has deliberated on this Manslaughter trial less than three days. We are all trying to fathom what the jury has guessed who was responsible for Michael Jackson’s death. The verdict will be read at 1:30 PM Pacific time.

The verdict is Guilty--November 29, 2011 is the date for sentencing. Judge remands Murray to custody pending sentencing even though he may well get probation.

I have to ask what defense lawyer would allow a client suspected of a serious crime to be interviewed by police? It was Murray's own words that caused this conviction. NEVER TALK TO THE COPS UNLESS YOU LIKE PRISON.

In China today the super rich never pay a dime in taxes while those who must work to survive are simply slaves. Communism/Socialism is nothing less that legalized slavery.

The official Crimefile Review of, “THE LAST RITES OF JOE MAY”

Los Angeles, CA—Former Chicago police, Area-6 Burglary dick Dennis Farina took on a great role and has knocked it out of the park. Farina has been a successful actor ever since he consulted with movie director Michael Mann on the film Thief. Farina got a bit part in the film and former Area-6 Robbery sergeant Chuck Adamson wound up a somewhat meatier role as a corrupt Chicago police sergeant (a big stretch-not!)

Adamson went on to be a screenwriter until he passed away a couple of years ago in Oregon where he retired.

Farina never forgot where he came from and still attends copper’s retirement parties and funerals.

I was lucky enough to see a screening of the film and have a chat with Farina after the film. At 68, Farina is still in rare form and seems ready to take on the world.

As for the film associated with Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theater it was a dream vehicle for Farina. The story was penned and directed by Joe Maggio. The film was shot in an incredible 19 days. Needless to say it was all Chicago through and through.

Farina’s character Joe May was an ageing small time hustler who returns from an extended Cook County Hospital stay after surviving a bout with pneumonia. May is a man with few friends and an estranged son. There are of course his acquaintances and a former partner who retired in an assisted living home.

May returns to his low rent apartment of 40 years, only to learn it was rented out to a young single mother, Jenny (Jamie Allman), and her adorable pre-teen daughter, Angelina (Meredith Droeger). May’s property was sent out to the trash by the land lord and he suddenly finds himself homeless and too proud to ask for help.

Jenny is involved in an abusive relationship with a control freak thug who just happens to be a cop and a collision course is set in motion.

May is in the struggle of his life to re-establish some kind of relevancy and to maintain his dignity. May’s search for work is aggravated by his age but he puts one foot in front of the other and moves forward. His search takes him to a sleazy and nasty underworld boss played by Gary Cole. Enough spoiling of the plot here so I will move on.

The real muscle of this film is that is about real people with real problems and emotions that must be faced. There are no special effects, expensive sets with the usual Hollywood eye candy. There is just a great script, wonderful actors that makes seeing this film compelling. It will make you want to be a little nicer to the Joe Mays in your life.

I don’t write reviews on films I don’t like. I love this film, cast and crew. Spend the money and see it in the theater. It’s definitely a date film so bring that special someone.

Pretender, Mitt Romney is More Liberal than McCain

There is one thing for sure that Democrats know. If a liberal weenie like Mitt Romney heads the GOP ticket the Conservative voters will boycott the polling places. Liberal weenies have headed up the GOP tickets for both Clinton terms and McCain did a great job of keeping Conservatives far from the polling places when he ran against Obama.

Somehow I expect that Romney’s Primary campaign is being funded by Obama supporters. A GOP Primary pitting Romney against that other pretender Rick Perry is the Democrat's, dream come true.

Romney has proven to be a big spending, gun rights hating, entitlement loving politician who will say anything at all to get elected. Romney’s stellar record as a Massachusetts Ted Kennedy style Liberal won’t be endangered if he somehow gets into the Whitehouse. That will never happen because disenfranchised Conservatives hate pretenders and will sit out another election rather than vote for a total fraud.

The closest candidate to a Conservative in my lifetime was Dwight D. Eisenhower. Ronald Reagan was a genuine moderate that appealed to nearly everyone. Reagan was limited by a Liberal Congress but our nation was headed in the right direction with economic growth facilitated through lower taxes.

George H.W. Bush was a pretender that got us into a war and set us up for permanent oil dependence on his Arab friends. Clinton could do little to reverse the good fortunes Reagan brought. George W. Bush was really destructive to our economy in every possible way and all but made us property of the Chinese Communists.

Obama is a genuine traitor and has set about the total destruction of our Constitution and way of life. He has done all he can to divide this once great nation and start a Civil War as a vehicle to install a Communist/Socialist government. He is not finished yet trying to capitalize on every crisis that he creates.

It looks like Obama won’t be reelected even if he somehow survives this first term. The Impeachment knives are out looking to draw some blood over rampant corruption. Frankly I don’t rule out a prosecution for treason or even murder for his part in the killing of Brian Terry. The Fast and Furious gunrunning scandal was and is part of a Whitehouse conspiracy. Obama is a stain on America that must be removed.

My Take On Conrad Murray and the Trial Evidence.

Los Angeles, CA—As the trial of Conrad Murray winds down I will give you my take on this case. Michael Jackson died because of Murray’s negligence and deviation from an acceptable standard of care we expect from physicians.

Saying he was negligent does not suggest he was grossly or criminally negligent.

Murray failed when he left dangerous drugs unattended nearby his patient Michael Jackson that he knew was a tortured drug addict. Jackson would do what’s expected of any addict and that is to recklessly self-administer drugs.

The jury here has to guess who administered the fatal drug dose. We must assume that Jackson wanted the drug that killed him and used an opportunity created by Murray’s negligence to consume what became his poison.

Murray should be disciplined by his peers on the medical boards where he practices medicine. Murray should have deal with the allegations of negligence and medical malpractice in a civil court.

From a purely technical point of view Conrad Murray should be found Not Guilty of any crime.

On a side note this case should not have been televised and the jury should have been sequestered.

What I think does not count, the jury will do what juries do.

Accused L.A.P.D Cop Burglar, a Profile in Paradox

Los Angeles, CA—L.A.P.D sergeant Lucien “Lou” Daigle, 44 was a well-respected cop whose world has crashed over a really frightening and despicable act. He was arrested for residential burglary at an upscale Mentone, CA home where he was nabbed, literally red-handed.

During the evening of Oct .23rd, Daigle was reportedly caught in the act by a homeowner while clinging to her camera equipment and other poroperty. When he pursued her, she was fortunate enough to have some powerful bear repellant spray she emptied on the home invader.

The off duty cop fled in his car only to be involved in a nearby collision. I can’t imagine what might have happened had the quick thinking victim not used the spray. At least Daigle did not try to involve or present a gun in this encounter.

I have done some preliminary examination of Daigle in an attempt to determine his need to commit such a desperate crime. When cops go bad it usually involves crimes related to police corruption. Residential burglary is really too lowbrow and repugnant even for a criminal with a badge.

Daigle pictured above is married to an attractive African-American woman and has six apparently well-adjusted children. Daigle, his wife and children live in a spacious home and they seem to have found the American dream.

Like nearly every cop Daigle has some secondary employment. He is a licensed real estate salesman and he operates a business related to buying and selling gold. We know the real estate market has tanked. Raising a large middle-class family is a financial challenge for any cop.

Daigle enjoys photography and has encouraged his children to compete in the entertainment and modeling world. He and his family are members of and regularly attend a local church.

Outwardly at least Daigle casts an image of a happy and decent family man with huge responsibilities. Perhaps like many Americans he is upside-down in his mortgage and his kids are growing into the age of needing cars and looking for college funding. Has this cop turned to burglary to make ends meet?

Today the question of Daigle’s involvement in additional burglaries and crimes are heavy on the minds of investigators. Just how dark is this newly discovered side of Lou Daigle? Just how dangerous is this man?

The homeowner that surprised Daigle in this reprehensible act is understandably frightened and refuses to stay at her home. The psychological trauma caused to this woman is beyond the pale.

We will have to wait and see what investigators uncover before we can guess what the penalties will be. Lou Daigle’s future is grim since legitimate job opportunities for convicted burglars are nearly non-existent. Despite seemingly overwhelming evidence, Daigle is still only a suspect right now and has the absolute presumption of innocence. We will have to see how this plays out in court.

Cell Phone Privacy Invasion Threatens You and Your Family

Los Angeles, CA—Cell phones have been a reality for nearly 30 years. The convenience and benefits of these wireless devices are enormous. Of all the people I know only one does not have one and he is considered strange.

There is a large segment of the population that is unaware that prior to cell phones, the phone companies kept only long distance call records. Today records are kept of every call or text message sent or received. This is beyond troubling.

The records kept have been bought, sold, used and abused at an unimaginable rate. I have seen thousands of records that were gotten through illicit means by private citizens, private investigators and cops. Then there are the legal governmental channels that lawfully obtain the records and even make public the records of innocent people in court cases.

During the ongoing trial of Michael Jackson’s doctor Conrad Murray, records were even broadcast internationally revealing calls and the private phone numbers of scores of people. This was a major privacy invasion.

Even records that have been obtained through warrants and subpoenas have been illicitly sold by government officials.

Rupert Murdock’s, News Corporation was caught with their pants down when it was discovered reporters were internationally stalking newsmakers using their private phone records.

There is a cure that’s really quite simple and that’s by forcing the cell phone companies to delete and destroy records after each bill is paid or to simply clock the phones’ usage for billing purposes.

If there are no records they can’t be abused. Cops can still get wiretap warrants so why do we need this kind of a privacy nightmare.

How many divorces have been brought on by spouses checking each other phone bills?

The GPS issues of cell phones are yet another Orwellian disaster. The abuse of those records is also rampant.

The cell phone companies and our government of course, continue with that disingenuous refrain, “Were only doing this for your safety.” That’s the same old line handed out by Nazi propagandist Josef Goebbels during the rein of the Third Reich.

We need to kill this monster before it kills us.

Los Angeles, CA—Before his recent arrest for residential burglary LAPD sergeant Lucien Daigle was a respected drug recognition expert for the LAPD. Daigle can be seen in the film called, American Drug War: The Last White Hope.

Hulu TV has the film and Daigle gives a rolling interview while patrolling on his beat in Skid Row. I can’t imagine this guy invading a woman’s home and confronting her while he is looting her property.

There will by a lot more information flowing about Daigle as this strange story unfolds during his prosecution. Again I hurt for Daigle’s six children and what they are facing.

Police Service Perfection, the H&K .45 Pistol Rocks!

Chicago, IL—In most police agencies the service pistols of our cops is restricted to department-approved firearms. What gets approved is based on many things but too often common sense is not one of them. There is a lot to be said about all officers using the same caliber of ammunition but only if the department plans to replenish the officer’s supply in the field should there be a major insurrection. I have never experienced that happening nor do I know anyone who has.

Most cops can remember the Bank of America shootout in North Hollywood where poorly armed officers were threatened and actually shot by two felons armed with Russian fully automatic AK-47s and more. To end the firefight cops had to borrow heavier weapons from local gun shops. Today there is still not a single gun shop in Chicago.

No police officer should ever be endangered by being outgunned like today’s Chicago cops. This should be a major scandal but will never be addressed until some fine cops perish at the inaction or pleasure of bureaucrats.

I am no fan of the .40 caliber cartridges that were adopted to cater to female officers deemed to dainty to handle the .45 ACP. I take exception because I know some petite women that handle the .45 better then most men. Cops are somewhat stuck with what they are permitted to carry. Training and practice is the only key to accurate shooting and survival.

I favor the Sig Sauer 220 in .45 ACP as a terrific and reliable pistol. The Glock 21 is also wonderful but I am too concerned about the trigger configuration and fear an unintentional discharge particularly during an altercation. But I’m a perfectionist and demand the very best.

The H&K .45 has been around for a couple of years and has proven it to be the winner. This pistol is not to be confused with the USP pistols that I considered to be cumbersome boat anchors. The H&K .45 is sleek, sexy and smooth. It has the accessory rail, night sights and wonderful magazine releases. The cost of the H&K .45 is steep especially in today’s economy.

I’m not a fan of the double action only configurations sought by the risk management sissies hired by most government agencies. I prefer what was originally intended, double action on the first shot only. The H&K .45 can be easily configured both ways like a bi-sexual.

LAPD Sergeant Nabbed For Residential Burglary is a Tragedy of Epic Proportions.

Los Angeles, CA—I’m still reeling from the arrest of LAPD sergeant Lucien Daigle for a residential burglary at an upscale and gated home. He has the presumption of innocence but being caught covered in pepper spray with the proceeds of the crime contemporaneous with the nearby burglary is beyond ugly.

For now the San Bernardino Sheriff is refusing to release a booking photo of Sgt. Daigle. He will soon be ambushed by news photographers, at his home or when he appears in a courtroom.

KTLA-TV tracked down the victim of the crime who is a physician for a telephone interview. She related that the suspect pursued her aggressively in her own home until she courageously and successfully deployed the pepper spray she had obtained for protection from bears that roam this rural community. The victim is truly grateful to be alive today.

The victim is understandably shaken, frightened and has felt the need to avoid staying in her own home because the suspected burglar has been released on bail. We can all imagine what this violation of her privacy, life and wellbeing could be like.

Cops are not immune from the temptations to engage in crime. The sad truth is cops do succumb to corruption from time to time. Even corrupt cops however do have line they won’t cross. The cop that would extort or steal from a drug dealer would be absolutely appalled at the thought of invading some innocent person’s home.

I’m trying to learn why the suspect targeted this woman’s home. Was there more to this than stealing valuables? Were there some serious mitigating factors that would cause a father of six children to commit such a reprehensible crime? Sgt. Daigle apparently had an unblemished record of 18 years of honorable service with department awards he had earned.

On the other hand is this the story of a prolific burglar who has used his police expertise to escape detection? I’m sure investigators have served search warrants and are painstakingly looking at that possibility right now.

I can’t help but feel pain for Sgt. Daigle’s family. How does his children cope with this disaster? How will they attend college without their father’s hard earned police pension? I’m sure these kids were so proud of having a role model father.

I feel for the victim who can’t face living in the dream home she worked so hard to buy. I want her to be safe, protected and somehow made whole after such an experience. Personally I’d replace the pepper spray with training and a suitable firearm.

I don’t want to see the life of any 44 year-old career cop flushed down the toilet for such a single foolish and evil act.

We can’t turn back the clock and undo all the damage. The reality is lives were changed forever and the trust in the men and woman trusted to wear the badge of honor as a cop has been sadly tarnished.

The best thing for this cop is to face his demons in a very public way. He needs to seek treatment for himself and family. Normally fellow cops would shun and ignore a peer in this kind of a predicament. They need to step up and help Daigle’s family more then ever.

Daigle needs to find a new career perhaps helping others that may be on such a self-destructive path. Daigle needs to save his own life today.

LAPD Sergeant Pepper Sprayed By Home Owner When Caught Committing a Residential Burglary.

Mentone, CA-- San Bernardino County Sheriff’s officers stopped off-duty LAPD sergeant Lucien Archie Daigle, 44 after a collision early in the evening of Oct. 23. The sergeant reeked of pepper spray and there were burglary proceeds in his car that were in plain view.

It was moments earlier a yet to be identified woman came home to burglary in progress. The woman went on the offensive and used some very potent pepper spray on the burglar who fled the scene.

Daigle was detained just a few miles from the crime scene. There is no know connection between the burglary victim and Daigle.

Deputies transported Daigle to a local hospital for minor injuries sustained in the collision and brought him in for routine booking. It was during the booking process that they learned that Daigle was a LAPD sergeant.

Daigle was released on $125,000.00 bail. The LAPD placed the veteran officer on administrative leave pending investigation from his position. Daigle worked in the Wilshire, Central and Olympic Divisions of the department.

Occupy Wall Street a Disappointment for Obama

New York, NY—The Occupy Wall Street protest has not been a boost to either Obama and the Socialists that funded the publicity fiasco.

The OWS gatherings have simply turned into encampments that have attracted freeloaders, partygoers and perverts. There are no coherent clear voices being heard with any pro-Obama messages.

The OWS is falling out of favor in the Leftist run city official where they were welcomed. Now the same officials are red-faced as they deal with ways to discourage and remove these useless squatters.

The squalid mess the OWS attendees are leaving behind stands as a scandalous monument to the Global Warming and recycling agendas of the Left. The damage to the landscaping at the Los Angeles site stands at well over $400,000.00. The cost for police overtime along with portable toilets, rain ponchos handed out by the city to the squatters has not been addressed.

The whole point of the OWS movement seems lost on some vague anarchy message. This movement did not spark the Socialist revolution that Obama had hoped to see.

Obama’s Huge Libya Victory and What it Means to US

Barack Obama brought us into yet another Mideast squabble, this time in Libya. His mission was to help Muslim rebels remove their dictator, Muammar Gaddafi from office. Okay what did we get? Are we safer? Are we wealthier? Did this somehow produce needed jobs for idle Americans? The answer is obvious we got absolutely nothing.

Obama essentially conspired with Muslim criminals and facilitated the cold-blooded murder of the surrendered dictator. Are Obama’s new Libyan pals going to somehow bring democracy to this country? Are they going to become new and trusted allies in the region? I’m much more concerned with how many planes loaded with innocent people Obama’s new pals will blow out the sky just because they can.

Are the new Libyan leaders going to become drunk with absolute power and the treasury they are already spending? How many scores are they going to settle by filling more mass graves than Gaddafi? We know the answer because it is redundantly written in Middle Eastern history.

Just what did Obama accomplish? Had he bombed Libya into the Stone Age that might have accomplished something. The Middle Eastern Muslim nations are filled with savages that murder, bomb and torture each other as a form of entertainment. They will never become civilized because of any influence from us.

The massive wealth we have unloaded on these oil-rich savages has given us only minimum control over their aggression against the Western nations they hate so much.

I blame the father-son Bush team for doing the same thing in Iraq. Afghanistan could not be tamed by the Soviets and our effort there has been nothing but a waste of our treasury and far too many American lives.

We need to use the oil under our own nation and let the Muslims kill each other all they want. The way Muslims murder their own women in the name of honor makes it abundantly clear to me that Middle Eastern Muslims are not fit to live according to Darwin’s law.

Socialism can never survive in a population of educated and self-sufficient citizens.

A reasonable immigration policy would give absolute preference to those immigrants who are educated, speak English, have talent along with something to offer the nation they want to make their home. Above all they must display loyalty to our nation.

America cannot afford to allow the importation of drugs, crime and poverty under the guise of “humane” immigration policy. We must use all necessary force and violence to prevent this deadly invasion to our soil.

Additionally there is absolutely no place for immigrants that insist on changing our government to accommodate the very policies and tyranny they have fled from in their home countries.

Millions of immigrants have brought this nation their talent, skills and culture. They have worked very hard to make this nation great. So many brave immigrants have fought and died for the American way of life in our military along the way. Of course I’m talking about those immigrants who respected and followed our laws.

Well educated people reject Socialism and the ignorant embrace and demand this failed and corrupt form of despotism. Of course our teacher’s unions have propagandized our entire educational system through effective brainwashing. Generation of Americans have been intentionally misled in our own tax supported schools.

Unfortunately we have millions of Americans that were taught to hate what our founding father’s sacrificed so much to give us. They never learned the importance of documents like the Magna Carta, the Declaration of Independence and our cherished Bill of Rights.

Today too many “educated” Americans don’t understand the benefits of a society where excellence is rewarded and failure is not. They don’t understand just how damaging and degrading the Socialist handout programs are to the human spirit. This is especially true of Americans that grew up never experiencing poverty or deprivation.

Is it just a coincidence that the Leftists are the ones demanding open borders and the end to enforcement of immigration laws?

These Leftists don’t demand freedom or human rights be respected in Mexico and Central America. Mexico has all of the wonderful natural resources that the United State’s has. The corrupt Mexican government refuses any effort at emulating the kind of government their citizens have fled to by the millions.

The only goal of the open border proponents is nothing less then the destruction of the American way of life and to create a one world Communist government.

In a perfect Socialist world there can be no place to escape. The citizens must totally conform and live under the iron fist or be liquidated.

In the 1950’s there was a saying, “Better dead than red!” It was and is so true. Freedom, liberty and the American dream are really worth fighting for and that fight is a never-ending battle. Cemeteries are filled with American patriots that have given all and we must continue this fight until the blight of Socialism no longer threatens us.

Gun Banners Can’t Fight Computer Aided Manufacturing

Making guns is now a bootlegger’s dream come true should banning efforts somehow continue despite the trend of rolling back decades of restrictive gun laws.

There was a day when making a gun required sophisticated machining skills, special knowledge of firearms and a lot of time. Most firearms made by ordinary machinists were very simple and not very desirable. Because of the computer revolution, minimal skills are needed today just a common CNC machine to make nearly any firearm.

Any business engaged in manufacturing metal parts has the equipment. The recipe and plans for making quality guns are simple computer programs that are all over the Internet!

You simply obtain the correct metal materials, program your machine and you’re a gun maker. If you really want to shake up the world of gun laws, regulation and registration making exact knock offs of existing products would be entertaining to say the least. Stamping serial numbers that reflect guns transferred through legitimate channels would put some politicians and bureaucrats into a seizure!

Making counterfeit working firearms is easier than counterfeiting money by far. The only reason there aren’t millions of bootlegged firearms out there is the gun bans have fallen everywhere in America.

What people don’t realize about Afghanistan is that this nation was the number one gun maker in the world specializing in quality knock off firearms even before computer ever existed.

The government will be able to control bootleg gun makers about half as well as illegal marijuana growers. Machine shops are everywhere and it is nearly impossible to regulate what they’re making especially in-between making lawn mower parts and such.

Along with semi-automatic firearms the making of fully automatic firearms, silencers and anti-tank weapons are also a snap.

The only cure is to make sure the majority of well-behaved Americans are well-trained and armed to keep the criminal minority in place.

Funding Chicago’s Corruption Through Legalized Extortion and Tax Tyranny

Chicago, IL—The undermanned, outgunned and demoralized Chicago police officers will become full-time extortionists if city officials have their way. Preventing crime has been a secondary mission for cops over the last decades anyway.

Chicagoans will be living in fear of their cops because they know the city’s uniformed bagmen will be the ones out enforcing collection. Will cops be personally endangered and suffer additional ridicule and disrespect? Frankly there will be no way around it if the city goes through with plans for those controversial photo traffic enforcement camera schemes to generate revenue.

Make no bones about it, they care not about your safety it’s your purses and wallets the politicians want. If you were thinking of abandoning Chicago anyway this should drive you right over the edge.

The cameras sound simple at least to the ignorant. The people victimized the most are the low paid delivery people and cab drivers. Anyone who must drive to earn a living will be severely punished. These are usually the people that can least afford to be handing over their meager earnings to city bagmen.

Chicago will never get serious about government corruption and or their overly inflated City Council members and party faithful living in luxury. The aldermen with generous salaries, slush funds, bribes and non-stop perks will never miss an opportunity to stuff their wallets at the expense of everyone else.

As for operating a traffic camera program that’s always left to a connected private company that knows how to generously fund re-election campaigns. Along the way they always take the lion’s share of the proceeds anyway.

The sheep of Chicago will just live in more fear and blame the cops that will be the ones towing cars and arresting the pizza delivery guys and cab drivers that are unable to pay the extortion.

In America through our Bill of Rights we have long ago outlawed hearsay evidence in our courtrooms. Photos and such are hearsay evidence without a live witness providing sworn testimony. Don't worry the local courts will subvert that too in their zeal to create funding.

Chicago’s officials refuse to accept that they can only entice revenue generating businesses and employers through tax incentives. Extortion is the method of thieves, thugs and dictators.

I beg the people of Chicago to reserve their violence for the politicians that have brought this blight and not the cops being put in the middle. Frankly history shows us that violence is the only way to end tyranny.

Judge Stephanie Sautner's Bail Bond Order in Lohan Case Was Overly Punitive.

Los Angeles, CA—All accused Americans have a right to be released on reasonable bail when they are accused of crimes. Bail is granted with two specific issues, the first is concerns the likelihood of the accused to appear in court or flee. The second issue has to do with the protection of the public from any danger posed by the accused.

Today Lindsay Lohan was ordered held to answer a probation violation accusation involving her two probations. Judge Stephanie Sautner ordered Lohan post $50,000.00 cash on each allegation.

California's bail bondsmen have a heavy lobby and nearly always get whatever they want from lawmakers. Bondsmen have more power than cops over the people they service. Bondsmen need to be put out of business and the courts accept that responsibility.

With bondsmen they take and keep ten percent of the bail automatically. Lohan had to fork over $10,000.00 cash in order to be released from jail pending her hearing. That’s money straight into the sewer. Many defendants are forced to use taxpayer provided public defenders because they have nothing left if they are able to post bail. That’s horrible public policy.

Jurisdictions like Illinois rid themselves of bondsmen, requiring defendants to post ten percent of the bail with the court clerk. Provided the defendant appears the ten percent is returned to the accused. Lawyers can have those bonds pledged for the services saving taxpayers a bundle. The rate of bail forfeitures is not greater in Illinois than California.

I have a huge problem with Lohan’s bond. The first is that Lohan does not miss her court dates always showing up with a lawyer. We know for sure she will appear. The other is that she has no history of violence and any public protection concerns don’t exist. Why then, must Lohan be forced to post $100,000? Is there some judicial corruption involved here?

Simply put, Lohan should have been released simply on her promise to appear. Judge Sautner’s enriching bail bondsmen does nothing to further the administration of justice or the presumption of Lohan’s innocence.

We don’t have room in our jails for dangerous convicted criminals but we make room for people simply accused of non-violent crimes. Someone please tell me what that’s about.

All I ask for is some simple common sense but cannot find any in the California court system.

KTLA-TV Morning “News” is a Massive Time Waster

Los Angeles, CA—Today it’s news reduced to gossip and idle chit-chat. Instead of reporting news KTLA’s morning program is an overloaded anchor desk of people rapidly chattering over each other about the most insignificant nonsense.

KTLA’s main focus seems to be the shameless promoting of their other daily programing under the umbrella of news reporting. That is as lame as it gets.

For example they devote entirely too much time to those incredibly ignorant reality TV personalities rather then information viewers need in their daily lives. Very little of what KTLA broadcasts is news. Rather than provide a litany of their pathetic content Let’s take a look of what they don’t provide.

Real news with in depth coverage has been replaced with pathetic sound bites from the army of government public information officers and corporate PR flaks. No efforts are ever made to dig further into stories. Why do we need reporters if all they do is parrot the provided propaganda?

A little digging and truth verification is what we should demand of our news reporters. I guess that’s too much like work. Personally I never found a major crime story that did not have some major surprises once I began to dig into them.

Our democracy is threatened every day we don’t have a meaningful press presence. There are always dangerous ramifications when we willingly accept what government tells us without question. Too many media organizations like KTLA have forgotten their mission. I doubt that today’s reporters even know who Josef Goebbels was or why he is the Godfather to Public Information Officers everywhere.

The single most important thing in America today is jobs and small business opportunities. Recruiting a reporter from the ranks of Human Resource workers to do daily reports on jobs, training and financial survival is essential. Who is hiring and what jobs are being phased out is important to anyone trying to enter the workforce. You’ll never find that Information on KTLA.

When they do crime stories their efforts are limited to what the PIOs say and meaningless neighbor interviews with the obligatory, “It’s so scary!” sound bites. Does it ever occur to these “reporters” to check available court records on the people who are accused and those claiming to be victims or witnesses?

The days of enterprising reporting are dead. The hidden camera stories along with investigation of allegations made by inside whistleblowers have vanished.

Taxpayers deserve to have their news providers exposing waste and fraud in government. Instead they give loads of valuable free campaign airtime to any and every Liberal politician that sends out a press release.

KTLA leads the way garbage disguised as news but the other L.A. news organizations are following close behind.

TV news simply does not deserve to live.

Firing Teacher for Anti-Semitic Statement is wrong and Un-American

Los Angeles, CA—A substitute school teacher, Patricia McAllister, spoke out at a recent Occupy LA protest, saying the Jews run the nation's banking infrastructure and should be forced to leave the U.S.

McAllister made the remark in front of the LA Unified School District headquarters on Monday. The remark resulted in this teacher’s dismissal. District officials claimed to support McAllister’s right to speak but said they’d, “never stand for behavior that is intolerant, disrespectful or discriminatory."

Official’s claimed that McAllister was an “at-will” employee that could be removed without a reason.

I guess those government officials need to go back and familiarize themselves with our Constitution that gave McAllister the right to voice even unpopular speech.

Had McAllister been indoctrinating school children to embrace her intolerant opinion that would be significantly different. The fired teacher was off-duty when she made her statement.

Now the taxpayers will be paying for the stupidity of school district officials that violated McAllister’s rights. Perhaps it is time to stop indemnifying rogue government officials and let them pay for their actions from their own pockets. Watch McAllister making her incendiary remarks below.

L.A. Superior Court Judges are Unreasonable to Celebrities.

Los Angeles, CA—Sometimes celebrities fail and wind up charged with a crime. Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton are some examples. There are others like Kelsey Grammer and Hugh Grant that have posed for the police booking camera for minor events that have proved to be major personal embarrassments.

The judges are quick to admonish the stars that they are not special and will suffer like anyone else. That always proves to be a big lie. Celebrities suffer so much more than the lesser known defendants before the bar of justice.

First and foremost, is the massive publicity surrounding any arrest of anyone famous. The paparazzi cameras assemble like flies on manure at the police stations and courthouses for a perp-walk or any glimpse of the hapless fallen star. Dealing with that kind of excessive humiliation has to take its toll on anyone.

The judges find community service options for the celebrities like the rest of us. In reality that’s cruel and unusual punishment since the celebrities are forced to mingle with ordinary offenders and are forced to suffer lots of unwanted attention from them. Community service usually consists of menial duties such as garbage picking along roads and cleaning government structures.

Paparazzi photographers are paid handsomely for pictures of celebrities in degrading or other photos and video of them being punished.

Because criminal defendants usually come from the lowest rung of society they have few skills that can be utilized. They are also considered untrustworthy and prone to committing crimes during their court ordered activities.

Community service means just that. It makes much more sense to take the extra step and match the defendant to the service by virtue of their skills and beneficial impact on the community.

Lindsay Lohan for example should be doing PSA’s or entertaining returning disabled veterans, special needs children or something else of value. That would be legitimate work with zero financial return for the celebrity.

Slaughter at Seal Beach

Seal Beach, CA—In this beautiful seaside bedroom community of 24,000 residents the unthinkable happened today. Police responded to a 1:21 PM call of shots fired at Salon Meritage on the 500 block of Pacific Coast Highway. So far eight of nine victims her were shot are dead. The ninth victim clings to life in critical condition at a local hospital.

Police followed a middle-aged suspect who was driving a white Toyota pick up truck. During a felony style police stop at 12th & Central he was discovered armed with semi-automatic pistols and loaded magazines. Under his shirt he was wearing a dark blue protective vest, and police SWAT style shin guards. He was also wearing blue police style cargo pants. So far police are silent about the man’s identity. The silence alone says volumes about the suspect and his occupation.

As of now at 6:00 PM police are pretending they don't know the suspect's identity but they are currently processing his home as a crime scene. Neighbors describe the suspect as a quiet and private man.

Judging by the suspect’s unusual effectiveness with the handgun used and the type of equipment involved he appears to be a well-trained law enforcement officer.

Employees and people familiar with the salon claimed that one of the victims was involved in an acrimonious relationship with a man suggesting that this relationship became the motive for the carnage.

I am waiting for a call from authorities handing the investigation.

Update:
Police said Scott Dekraai, 41 of Huntington Beach, CA, is the suspected gunman. It’s believed that Dekraai had targeted his ex- wife, Michelle Fournier. Since their 2007 divorce they’d been fighting over child custody. Fournier recently sought a restraining order against the suspected gunman.

Dekraai worked in maritime related employment and has a military background. He has apparently no law enforcement employment or training.

Flying High in the Video Information Age

New York, NY--There’s a video visionary that has trained many in the changing world of newsgathering and filmmaking. Out of dire financial circumstances TV news organizations have had to do much more with so much less. With the help of amazing new video cameras, and that great Apple software program Final Cut Pro local TV news has avoided extinction.

The equipment necessary to make great visually pleasing video now cots a small fraction of what it used too. It used to take a bare minimum photographer, video editor and reporter along with hours to put together a single one minute-thirty second news story. There are of course the sound and lighting people and always, big advantages to having multi-camera shoots. However there are also lots of tricks that a single video journalist can do make his or her product look terrific.

Today it can be done well by one person. The days of reporters waiting for their turn in a video editing bay with an editor are over. A quiet place to sit with your MacBook Pro, voiceover microphone and headphones is all you need. Of course you need to spend some time learning how to make the magic from a real pro.

Michael Rosenblum is the founder of Rosenblum TV and the New York Video School. He has trained reporters and producers in video news gathering and editing to the chagrin of so many career video photographers and editors. Jobs in the news business have been threatened and the layoffs have hit nearly every market.

Most of my blog visitors know of my TV background as an investigative producer but now I carry my TV studio in two bags. I will never stop learning to do the exciting things I love. My limitation is in blog promotion and funding needed to gather the material I think my visitors want.

Delta Airlines Captain John Roberts like my friend is gearing of for his second life as a filmmaker too. He’s off to a great start as a NYVS graduate and his travel perks he is about to launch a travel program to beat all others. Roberts is a pioneer and example for everyone.

They're in most major cities right now. They’ve been recruited for this mission because they’re Barack Obama’s loyal storm troopers from the SEIU, Moveon.org and ACORN. They are milling around with non-specific, confusing and mixed agendas.

They simply are trying to gather enough people to openly disrupt our commerce and economy further. If they can assemble more people they will have enough to create massive insurrections.

We can expect looting, burning and murders if they manage to get sufficient manpower to neutralize local police. If Obama’s thugs have the numbers they know that the police will be ordered by their Democratic Party mayors to stand back and watch forcing Americans to take the law into their own hands.

Business owners and people trying to earn their living at some point will turn on Obama’s thugs returning their violence in spades. That will give Obama the excuse to suspend the Constitution and declare Martial Law. Elections will also be suspended keeping Obama in power.

That move will bring the Civil War that Obama and his socialist minions are itching to begin. Obama knows that either he pulls this off or his dark shadow over our government will end.

What Obama does not understand is that the military training of millions of honorable veterans along with well-armed and trained civilians will crush his undisciplined thugs.

I doubt that our military and police will follow Obama’s orders to fire upon fellow Americans. There will be serious population control and perhaps a million fewer Entitlement Zombies sucking blood from their neighbors.

Caught in the middle will be lots of young folks that have neither the skills nor inclination to fight for survival. The Ipod and YouTube Generation will scurry around like frightened sheep unable to cope with food, water and Internet interruptions. Cell-phones service will be restricted or shut down too.

Rather than to invest in gold, lead and gun powder along with CB or family service walkie-talkie radios, batteries and non-perishable food will provide a much better return.

The Socialists and communists in our own government have placed Americans into a situation where they’ll once again have to answer the call for duty to protect and preserve their freedom. There will be no other fix unless we are willing to accept fascism.

Surviving Onion Field Killer Seeks Parole

Los Angles, CA—Gregory Powell is an exceptionally gifted paralegal, classy sounding gentleman and a frightening cold-blooded cop killer. He’s 76 years old and in failing health. Powell was a career criminal and a total waste of good sperm.

Powell escaped the death penalty and is currently serving one of those life sentences that do not necessarily mean life.

On October 18 Powell will face a California Parole board and with any luck he will get the same result he got a year ago, more tasty prison gruel.

Actor James Woods played Powell in the film based on Joe Wambaugh’s best selling book. Woods should have won an Academy award for his performance. Although the film was well-done and accurate, Powell blames the film on keeping him locked up nearly three decades longer than he would have had the film not been made and released. I’m sure he’s right.

Fellow killer and partner Jimmy Smith was somehow let out in 1983 only to repeatedly reoffend and put back behind bars. Finally in April of 2007 in custody at the Pitchess Detention Center in Castaic, California he died of an apparent heart attack at age 76.

Powell was considered the mastermind and has yet to see the light of day outside prison.

There is little doubt that he’s not the man he was in 1963 and that prison has refined and educated him in the nearly 50 years he’s been caged. Powell is also a gifted writer that should be publishing books but has not chosen that vocation.

I could support parole for Powell if he was totally disabled and incapable of leaving his nursing home alone.

Frankly this is about the savage kidnapping, murder of one cop, Ian Campbell and the attempt to kill the other policeman, Karl Hettinger.

Powell has managed to outlive nearly everyone ever connected to that infamous case. He may already be the last man standing. Powell is one fellow that earned every bit of his punishment in spades.

As much as I hate the death penalty I’d have found satisfaction had he sucked lethal gas at San Quentin like he deserved.

I might be tempted to attend that parole hearing and bring my video camera if someone sponsored my trip. I’d love to post the entire hearing on this blog.

Massive Legal Blunder by Defense Lawyer is Aiding Conrad Murray’s Prosecution

Los Angeles, CA—We are all used to seeing videos and hearing audiotapes of suspects being grilled by the police. The suspects squirm, lie or give investigators information that helps them foreclose on the suspect’s defense options. You never see defense lawyers present during these interrogations because they would never allow that to happen.

We live in a great country that gives us all an absolute right not to answer cop’s questions. The reality is only a tiny percentage of suspects are savvy enough to keep their mouths shut and ask for a lawyer.

Conrad Murray actually had a lawyer who offered his client up for a police grilling. This mistake is beyond jaw dropping in its effect on criminal lawyers everywhere. The jury is about to hear prosecutors play the interview recording as his red-faced lawyers have to deal with the blunder.

There may be a slightest benefit for Murray in that the unsworn testimony he gave investigators may make his taking the stand during the trial unnecessary. The defense attorneys can tell the jury, “You’ve all heard what Dr. Murray had to say.”

I’ve yet to hear the interview or read the transcript but if it wasn’t damaging the state would not be using it against him. My question is if his lawyer simply gagged Murray would they even have succeeded in indicting him?

The truth is if every suspect was able to take back their statements to police the jails and prisons would be nearly empty.

We live in a police state and talking to them can even cost you your life even if you are absolutely innocent.

Why I Distrust and Fear Barack Obama

Washington, DC—Barack Obama campaigned on an “open government” but he’s reneged and has been more secretive and divisive that any president. Rather than address our economy he has given away our treasury to Wall Street crooks, failed automakers and criminal organizations such as ACORN.

Obama has perverted the purpose and mission of the Department of Homeland Security to target his political opposition and to wean Americans off of their liberty and freedom. The Obama sanctioned actions of Secretary Janet Napolitano are frightening and treasonous. They have brought us government tyranny and economic collapse rather than to control or effect terrorism to the slightest degree.

Homeland Security’s only success was to divert millions of Americans from air travel with devastating consequences to the entire tourism industry by their intrusive and criminal fondling.

Obama knows he can’t get reelected and he’s maneuvering the nation into an insurrection with his instigation and support of the ACORN and SEIU thugs that have begun an occupation of major city financial centers. It’s becoming obvious to me that Obama wants a groundswell of violence to spread far and wide enough to suspend the Constitution and declare Martial Law.

The election set to remove Obama would be jeopardized, delayed and perhaps deemed by the new occupation as unnecessary and dangerous to government operation.

The declaration of Martial Law will cause millions of Americans to react by waging war against the Obama Administration and their supporters. What we will have is a full Civil War and total anarchy.

Obama will gamble that his army of Entitlement Zombies, African-Americans and Socialists will murder enough civilized Americans loyal to the Constitution and the American way of life to succeed. If that is insufficient Obama will bring in foreign troops from Socialist nations to assist him in his coup d'état.

Let me say we elected a stranger with a Socialist rather than traditional American loyalty to our heist office. His oath to protect and defend or Constitution was nothing less than a giant fraud. He’s very citizenship remains a mystery and the radical Communists that he has surrounded himself with should make the actions I expect from him a surprise. God help us all.

Our politicians have gone on a wild a spending orgy as they have suspended our rights under the Fourth and Second Amendments.

The TSA and the billions blown on crap that does nothing more than fill political campaign coffers with contributions from government contractors. The TSA has not stopped a single terrorist attempt but more than once alert and brave airline passengers have.

We have allowed the Congress and various state legislatures to trade our hard won liberty for the illusion of security. That also comes with a staggering price tag for taxpayers.

What we’ve done is to invite government tyranny which is much worse that the terrorism and they enslaved us to pay for the police state we allowed them to create.

The Patriot Act violates our privacy as the FBI and BATFE has routinely engaged in despicable criminal conduct such as the deadly, Fast and Furious and Gun Walker scandals.

Have we have forgotten how government thugs waged war on the Branch Davidians because they peacefully exercised their Second Amendment rights at their house of worship in Waco, Texas? The phony tip that they had an unregistered .50 caliber machinegun was never substantiated. Our Government murdered scores of men, women and children. Calling the shots of the Waco Massacre was none other than Eric Holder.

The TSA bureaucracy is truly a meaningless exercise since terrorists with either a boat or a truck could launch a small ground to air missile targeting our commercial aircraft at low altitudes during takeoffs and landings. That’s precisely what happened to TWA Flight 800 off of New York. The Clinton Administration covered that up to avoid giving credit to our Muslim enemies.

I Owe Steve Jobs…

Chicago, Il—I was always a PC guy more because Apple did not use a lot of special software I needed for investigative projects. Things have changed and now Apple can fill most of my needs.

Today I have a small MacBook Pro, Itouch, Iphone but I lust for an IPad. I’m also at an age where the heavy lifting is behind me. I’m now slowly moving to investigative documentary filmmaking.

Rather than just despise filmmaker Michael Moore I can now compete with him and give another view of our world. Moore’s voice will never stand alone.

Recently I acquired the MacBook Pro along with Final Cut Pro software and an incredible high definition JVC camera. I’ve become empowered to create films. Aside from the lighting equipment and wireless microphones I already owned for around $5,000.00 I have everything I need aside from a major film studio, vast prop and wardrobe warehouse.

I need not rely on others to make the films I want to make.

I am almost overwhelmed with the ease I can create video content that would have required a quarter-million dollars and a difficult learning process.

IMovie is absolutely amazing and comes with every Apple computer but Hollywood’s industry standard for editing is Final Cut Pro. In the past I have used other software designed for the PC but it does not hold a candle to FCP.

Apple has changed my life for the better. Having the raw power to take moments in time and preserve them along with the ability share my dreams with the world is quite awesome.

Thank you to Steve Jobs and so many others that are going to prevent me from being idle in my old age.

We are killing people on guesses as to their culpability in those notorious and despicable crimes.

Cops have incredible power to frame people. All they need to do is remove an item or two from your trash and deposit it along with your DNA contained on the items at a murder scene. Far fetched you say? Think again about the bloody glove at the O.J. Simpson home. It was found by a cop, who was later convicted of Perjury at the murder trial! Can you trust evidence enough to rely upon it to kill people?

In the late 1960’s murders were solved and cleared by arrest at between 80 and 85 percent. Today that has dropped to below 35 percent. What happened because we now have so much greater technology?

Yes, we have surveillance cameras, DNA and incredible data sources made available by cell phones, credit, debit and now government entitlement cards.

The new technology exonerates many more people that it implicates. Far fewer unreliable eyewitness identifications are convicting innocents. Of course we still make huge mistakes destroying lives in the process.

The death penalty does not mend the lives of those devastated by the murder of their loved ones. It certainly does not bring back the dead or anything positive. There is a sense of retribution but it seems so lost as we put condemned killers to sleep in such comfort on a clean soft bed. Frankly spending life doing hard time in a nasty prison is real punishment.

Violent crime needs to be interrupted on our streets not by government but by people refusing to be victims. Laws have improved nearly everywhere allowing ordinary citizens the right to get training and carry a gun for self-defense. That’s a deterrent and that takes the guesswork out of the guilt of people out committing mayhem.

The death penalty costs taxpayers on the average millions in legal resources to exercise. Feeding them gruel and confining them is so much cheaper and punitive.

The government officials deliberately allowed known criminals to bypass the Brady Background Checks and buy thousands of guns with tax funds for transfer to the wrong side of the Drug War.

Hundreds have been murdered with the Obama guns including two federal agents.

Why you ask? It was to create a carnage crisis that would influence people to accept Obama’s plans to sign a United Nations Treaty that would circumvent our Second Amendment.

BATFE agents that remembered their oaths to the U.S. Constitution mattered more than protecting a Whitehouse despot betrayed Obama and his minions.

Most recent revelations made it obvious that Attorney General Eric Holder lied to Congress in addition to stonewalling and withholding documents demanded by Congress.

The Obama Justice Department has tried to intimidate and terrorize Sharyl Attkisson a CBS investigative reporter that has covered the deadly scandal. Attkisson revealed that Obama Justice Department employed thugs screamed and swore at her for doing her job.

Intimidation of lady reporters is something right out of the Third Reich. This should scare the Hell out of every American.

We must not tolerate the criminal behavior of Obama, Eric Holder and the thugs he’s employed. They all must be removed purged, arrested, tried and punished.

They’re Still Trying to Kill Debra Milke

When former Phoenix’s Channel 10 news director Dave Howell and producer Jim Lemay asked me to interview a murder suspect at the Maricopa County Jail in December of 1989 they did not have to tell me to record the conversation.

In Arizona the law is that only one party to a conversation needs to be informed or consent to record that conversation. Back in 1989 I made a hidden microphone out of a ballpoint pen that I could plug into any recording device. I used the surreptitious microphone to document what was said and take the guesswork out of just what who said what to whom.

The murder suspect was a woman accused of murdering her four year-old. I assumed she was probably guilty and was hoping to catch some incriminating statement to share with TV viewers. I had an exclusive story that night that included the taped statement.

The woman had no lawyer or even contact with family or friends to advise her not to talk to me. Had the young woman a lawyer he’d have never let her talk to me. But without a lawyer she talked and answered questions. She surprised me with a solid denial of involvement in the murder and wanted to know when she see the lawyer she asked for hours earlier.

I’d find out that a Phoenix police detective, Armando Saldate would later file a report claiming that she confessed to him just a few hours earlier than her denial to me. He had no tape, signed statement or a any evidence of this alleged confession.

The jury chose to believe the cop over the suspect and the young woman went straight to Death Row. Debra Milke has been there ever since.

I’ve become a freelance investigative TV news producer as a result of being conscripted by news organizations. I began this case with one news outlet but I have assisted and produced this for three Arizona TV stations, Three German TV networks, Swiss TV and several print publications over the years.

I was contacted by a Swiss film producer at Le Flair Productions and assisted them with a film that was shown in Geneva last March at the Human Rights Film Festival. I was brought twice to Europe as a result. The European interest in this story is because Debra Milke was born in Berlin, Germany. Europe is still reeling from massive overuse and abuse of the death penalty by the National Socialist and Fascist governments. The death penalty is viewed as a tool for government tyranny and has been outlawed there.

Jacques Secratan is a Swiss producer/writer who asked me to shoot and edit a short in Phoenix last week. With the miracle of modern technology, a great camera and Apple’s Final Cut Pro X I was able fill that request. Secratan has written a book and wanted the short for his website. Secratan is hoping somehow to get Debra Milke a fair day in court and her freedom.

I will continue to welcome and assist any news producers or documentary filmmakers to get the facts of the travesty of justice that wrongfully put Debra Milke on Death Row. I believe every American must insist that our government follow the rules and be fair to people accused of crimes.

Who Killed Michael Jackson?

Los Angeles, CA—Conrad Murray, MD is on display in a Show Trial being broadcast internationally. Prosecutors are grandstanding like peacocks as tongues of every gossip-mongering pundit are furiously wagging.

Witnesses have testified that Dr. Murray removed “evidence” and sought to remove even more in anticipation of police investigating this predictable death. I find the testimony of the Jackson compound folks too well rehearsed. I think we should at least wait until the defense has an opportunity to either offer evidence or testimony before buying this stuff as dogma.

Michael Jackson was an enormously talented fellow that bought everything including friends and children with the unimaginable wealth he was able to gather during his lifetime.

Jackson unlike most of us on earth never had to hear the word, “No.” Jackson was surrounded with well-paid yes men. The members of the medical community seemed owned the moment Jackson became their patient.

There was no shortage of plastic surgery for Jackson in his quest to shed his biological race and create his ambiguous sex. There was no shortage of physicians willing to medicate Jackson into the stratosphere. Were the doctors corrupt, or was it the patient that dictated the course of his own treatment?

Jackson was addicted to plastic surgery, drugs and little boys. His wealth enabled his mortally dangerous conduct with those addictions. So many people overlooked those socially unacceptable activities because they were in awe of Jackson’s celebrity, talent and wealth.

I hate the circus show trial of Dr. Murray. I hate the people that don’t have a life becoming a modern day lynch mob clamoring for a guilty verdict.

The jury should have been sequestered by the judge and cameras barred from the courtroom. There is no way the jury can or will avoid those things ordered by the court.

Maybe Dr. Murray broke the law and maybe the state lacks sufficient evidence to convict him. Maybe Dr. Murray was trying to desperately find a way to wean Jackson off drugs? It’s clear that Dr. Murray asked for at least one additional physician, be brought in to treat Jackson as he obviously tried to protect the doctor patient confidentiality.

Dr. Murray obviously needed help in treating Jackson. It’s clear to me, he recognized Jackson had a life threatening disease and felt he could not handle this alone.

In the end it was excess that killed Michael Jackson like so many others in the music business. The fact is that living until age 50 under the circumstances made Jackson a real survivor considering the ages of so may others fallen because life in the danger zone.

Dr. Murray deserves a fair trial but won’t get one. Even if he were to be acquitted what I see happening is wrong.

I consider Jackson a patient that dictated his own medical treatment with the promise consistent with the theme of his last concert tour, “This is It!”

Michael Jackson murdered himself. Dr. Murray was in the middle of a medical nightmare but that’s exactly why we have doctors and they get the big bucks. Was he helping Jackson or simply enabling him? I think the answer should remain part of the sacred doctor patient secrecy.

A Song Dedicated to Justice for Debra Milke has Surfaced

Los Angeles, CA—He is Europe’s, David Waterfall and he like so many others became convinced that Debra Milke was railroaded straight to Arizona’s Death Row.

It was over 21 years ago when I was sent by the CBS-TV affiliate in Phoenix, Arizona to interview Debra Milke at the Maricopa County Jail. That was just hours after a cop would later claim she confessed to him that she approved that her four-year old son Christopher be murdered. There is no signed confession, Miranda waiver, electronic recording or any witnesses to this alleged confession.

I’d never do such an interview without recording it and took a hidden device to memorialize every word Milke might tell me. Armed with a hidden recorder I asked her, “Did you tell the police that you were involved with the death of your son?” She glared at me and replied, “That’s crazy! Who told you that? I had nothing to do with the death of my son!” Those are hardly the words of a repentant confessor.

I brought the tape of my 15 minute interview to the newsroom and moments later the contents of the tape was broadcast to over one million viewers in an exclusive news report.

The defense lawyer never bothered to make an effort to subpoena me, or the tape for Milke’s trial. Milke also told me she asked for a lawyer and was wondering when one would see her. This was important since the police detective, Armando Saldate would later claim that Milke never requested a lawyer. The jury never knew the truth!

This cases has been grinding through the appeal process and the state is doing everything they can to strap Debra Milke to a table and kill her based on what I’m convinced is a blatant lie. There was no other evidence that implicates Milke in this unspeakable crime.

The two men that murdered the boy both confessed on tape. Of course each man claimed the other fired the three shots into Christopher’s head. Neither man offered information that Milke approved or orchestrated this crime as the prosecutor Noel Levy alleged.

This case more than any other changed my mind about the death penalty.

How About a Death Penalty Compromise?

Phoenix, AZ—Putting convicted killers to death is wildly popular in the United States. It’s the final retribution and deters future criminal conduct, at least by the condemned prisoner.

Let me be the first to say I’d much prefer to see many more justifiable homicides by Americans fighting crime where they live and work.

Our justice system is a mess. Jurors get way too much outside influence and despite court rules they are busy surfing the web and social networking sites before and during deliberations.

There are so many cases these days where the guilt of the accused is arrived at by simple guesswork and probabilities. Most troubling are those cases where medical examiners can’t even provide the cause of death! Murder is assumed and even though there are no witnesses, prosecutors can make the jury hate and convict the accused. That is beyond scary and un-American.

Because of Constitutional guarantees imposition of a death sentence take from 10 to 30 years as appeals grind through the courts. What people need to know is taxpayers fund both sides of the appeals and when the death penalty is involved those cases cost several million dollars each!

People sent away for life don’t get the financial resources that are available to the condemned. The life sentences that are handed out as a result of plea agreements are rarely seen in appellate courts. The death cases are always litigated up and until the very last second.

Most people on death row are career criminals who are really guilty. Being a habitual criminal invites suspicion and arrest with the thinnest of evidence. Some times just being known by police in a crime infested neighborhood will get these people caught in the police dragnet after a serious crime.

There are an amazing number of people sitting in condemned cells with no criminal record, other than their current conviction!

I hope there is nobody reading this story that wants innocent people strapped down to a table and killed for crimes they did not commit. It happens and you or someone you love could suffer unimaginably when our justice system fails.

There is something simple that can be done to preserve the death penalty and yet end forever the frightening specter killing an innocent person.

Simply changing the government’s burden of proof from beyond a reasonable doubt to, beyond a doubt before imposition of a death sentence. A second higher hurdle for death cases would save hundreds of millions of dollars and take the guesswork out of killing people like Troy Davis.

With fewer death penalty cases clogging up the courts, the process can be speeded up for those that deserve the ultimate punishment.

Obama’s Objective is to Incite Class Warfare or Worse

Los Angeles, CA—Barack Obama is heading here Monday for more fundraising and campaign functions. He can’t take the hint the polls provide that soundly reject his idea of Hope and Change. I’m convinced he has no desire for the humiliating loss at the polls he’s sure to get. Obama has a really dark option to maintain power or better yet absolute power.

His increased unpopularity makes him a target for patriots that consider this Marxist President a traitor. Frankly I’m waiting for a serious attempt to assassinate Obama, perhaps by a loyal American Secret Service or other federal agent with the means and opportunity few others have. Imagine some agent recently diagnosed with an aggressive and terminal form of cancer with nothing to lose doing his idea of a final good deed.

I strongly suspect that Obama and his un-elected and un-vetted Czar Cabinet have been engineering a massive insurrection through their wildly successful efforts to destabilize our economy. Once the riots begin Obama will declare Martial Law and suspend the Constitution.

I suspect that the Nazi bitch that Obama placed in charge of Homeland Security will mobilize those misfits and sub-humans working for her TSA. They will be soon given firearms to use against Americans. She is sending them out right now any place she can to abuse the rights of Americans such as NFL football games.

At some point I fully expect to see foreign troops perhaps from China on our soil helping Obama “restore peace”. The claim will be that this is necessary for public safety.

I see nothing ahead but a Civil War for this totally divided nation. We have a huge population of Entitlement Zombies that are demanding wealth redistribution to them. We have another huge population of Mexican and Central American trespassers who think they’re entitled simply whatever they want.

What’s left, are the hard-working taxpaying citizens that are being victimized by those who contribute nothing but poverty, drug abuse, and crime to society. They will have to fight for their lives or simply become robbed, raped and enslaved. Frankly these are the very people that don’t have a clue how to protect themselves, their families or there country.

Thankfully there lots of loyal America cops, military members and veterans that will never bow to Obama or Socialism. They can be counted upon as always to give their precious blood for freedom and liberty.

Was It Murder or Suicide? What Loved ones Need to Know…

Los Angeles, CA—When person is found dead from either a gunshot wound, cutting, hanging or from a toxic substance the question of foul play must always be thoroughly examined and ruled out.

All police departments and medical examiners are not created equal. Some do great work and some are not up to the task. Wealth of a community often times is a hindrance rather than a help to finding the truth.

Homicides are very rare in affluent jurisdictions and that too often means inexperienced investigators are in control of these cases. A really well-known example of unqualified cops botching an investigation was the 1996, Boulder, CO murder of six-year-old JonBenét Ramsey.

The Bolder cops had little more than police academy training that at the most included only one field trip to a medical examiner’s office. The so-called Boulder detectives were barely qualified to provide security at some shopping mall. They were arrogant as they jealously protected their turf from outside assistance. They loved the spotlight until their gross incompetence gained worldwide attention.

Because of the mess the Boulder cops made, the case will never be solved and justice was denied. The sub-standard evidence collection and preservation rendered physical evidence as unreliable because of contamination. The total lack interview and interrogation skills of these cops prevented them from doing more than bullying the parents until they called their lawyers and refused more questions.

On the other hand big city cops working crime-infested ghettos see lots of murders every day and quickly gain needed skills to solve murders. When the crime-free affluent areas have murders they really have no choice but to immediately bring in outside help. Foolish pride and inflated egos will derail quality investigations more often than not.

On the subject of suicide I must caution loved ones that denial and guilt too often cloud otherwise good judgment in evaluation of an unnatural death. This is especially true of deaths of young men and boys due to auto-erotic asphyxiation. It is very rare that a case for murder can me made after a reasonable death investigation indicates suicide.

The scene:

Quality photographs must be taken by, experienced forensic photographers. Video is also important. Death scenes are not weddings and certain things need solid documentation.

Any and all signs of a struggle must be documented. A messy residence will sometimes create confusion. Looking for blood and bodily fluids must be exhaustive and may have come from the killer/s rather than the victim.

The victim’s fingernails hands and forearms must be painstakingly photographed for any defense signs or wounds. Broken or cracked fingernails, are a sure sign of a struggle especially when a well-groomed victim is involved. DNA unseen by the human eye can be found under fingernails, collected and matched with a suspected donor.

Here is where solid interviews are important. If your suspect denies ever being at the crime scene or touching the victim his fingerprints, DNA or clothing fibers being found on or near the victim would become damning evidence.

Mental status and intoxication:

When there is the slightest hint of suicide, a psychological autopsy should be conducted by a qualified physician. Drugs legal or otherwise along with alcohol and the victim’s known history need examination. Past bouts of depression, financial difficulties or health worries are not small issues and must be factored into these investigations. Of course disputes, litigation and other business issues need the attention of investigators.

Failed or unrealized relationships sometimes end in suicide for some really educated and otherwise well-adjusted people. Broken hearts do kill. On the other hand broken hearts and bruised egos become the motive for murder.

Investigators must get inside the heads of their victims to find the truth. If the police jurisdiction shows any signs like Boulder, CO in 1996 you need to bring in a well-qualified expert. I suspect today, a murder in Boulder would be handled differently and include some experienced outside investigators.

NFL Go To Hell!

I have watched my last NFL game. Not only will I stay away from their games and won’t watch those candy-asses on TV!

I have been avoiding stadiums and events that frisk people preferring to skip the indignity and humiliation of being searched like a criminal just to attend a game.

Today because of the NFL’s un-American frisking policy I will be skipping any viewing in any form of this pussy outfit. I will also skip buying any products sponsoring the NFL.

I will gladly take my chances with foreign terrorists over accepting my own country being ruled by the kind of iron fist we have fought so many wars to stop cold.

I ask that every red-blooded American let the NFL pansies dance to their own music as they fondle and frisk each other. They won’t be doing that to me.

It’s Time For Barack Obama, Resign or Face Certain Impeachment.

He gave the crooked bankers, Wall Street moneychangers and failing automakers nearly our entire treasury and as every politically Conservative expert predicted things only got worse.

Obama and his Congressional super-majority plunged the nation into hopeless debt until the mid-term election upset slowed down the reckless and massive waste and outright government sponsored theft.

Our open style of government became one of locked doors. Behind the scenes un-vetted, unelected Czars made public policy. As former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said, “We have to pass the healthcare bill to find out what’s in it.” That ridicules statement gives total insight to the disastrous terminal plight of America, as we knew it.

Never have we seen a political party trying to distance themselves so fast from their standard bearer. There’s now open discussion among the media giants that just a few moths ago were in lockstep with the Obama Whitehouse suggesting that their choice for president was the wrong one.

The Obama Administration’s very disturbing scandals are beginning to boil over and are overwhelming the media cover-up efforts that now seem to be ending. The media is beginning to recognize that Obama has sent the goals of the Democratic Party into an abyss. They now are desperately trying to promote Hillary Clinton as the Commander in Chief. Obama’s popularity is sinking faster than the Titanic and he’s doing even more damage to the Party’s image every day.

One thing for sure Obama’s dubious new Job’s Program is nothing more than a sickening continuation of massive waste and theft. What amazing arrogance for Obama to include billions more taxpayer funds for that criminal enterprise called ACORN!

The handwriting is on the wall. Obama must resign or face impeachment and even possible imprisonment. The jig is up!

Charlie Sheen and Two And A Half Men Must Reunite

Los Angeles, CA—I don’t watch television beyond some news programming. Most television is total crap especially with all the poorly contrived reality programming.

I got hooked on Two and a Half Men after seeing it on several airline flights. The show is hilarious and the original cast is wonderful. The writing is top notch and Charlie Sheen has proven himself to be a gifted actor and comedian.

No group of humans can create an entertainment masterpiece without a lot of blood, sweat and tears. Sometimes people become unreasonable and also very hurtful. We can guess what happened between the show’s creative geniuses, Lee Aronsohn, Chuck Lorre and Charlie Sheen. They had a falling-out that appeared to be beyond nasty and Sheen began a journey into an abyss.

I was hoping the hyped meltdown was just a clever Hollywood publicity stunt. That seemed unlikely when they cast Ashton Kutcher as a replacement for Charlie Sheen.

Kutcher has obvious entertainment chops and a fan base but he does not seem to fit into this dysfunctional group of characters. The show must go in with the terminally edgy Charlie Sheen or it’s over for good.

The rest of the cast and crew deserve to continue on without the premature death of Sheen’s character, Charlie Harper. That can only happen by CBS and this group of entertainers arriving at a decision to bury old garbage and give their audience what they want. If that happened the show would be more popular than ever. That would simply translate into cold hard needed cash.

As for Kutcher he was caught in the middle of this mess and there are contractual issues to deal with for sure. That’s something that can be dealt with later.

Charlie Sheen may have been a disappointment to people in a lot of different ways but as an entertainer he’d only disappoint by failing sharing his entertainment gift. Charlie Sheen needs to continue wearing those ugly shirts and doing what he does best. Charlie Sheen, CBS and Chuck Lorre need to write more television history by catering to their audiencce.
