Communism is So Wonderful That People Are Shot Trying to Escape

Just one of many that were murdered by the East German Communists trying to Escape Utopia in the 1960's, 70's and 80's

Private enterprise? Bad.
Ever increasing size of government? Good!

Government % of gross domestic product 25%, 35%, 45%, let's keep it going higher 55%, 65%...

Isn't Cuba 90%? Wouldn't it be a lot simpler if we all just moved there?

We all love government rules, regulation and oppression.

The Western world celebrated the anniversary, except in most parts of South America where there are neo-communist governments in power, such as in Chile where I now live. The President, Michelle Bachelet, expresed "nostalgia" for the Berlin Wall, and felt that "When the Wall fell the ideals for a utopia also fell" She lived in East Germany for several years and was good friends with Erich Honecker, the dictator who built the Wall. What a disgrace for Chile! You should remember that Chile was the first country in the world to overthrow a communist gov't. But the military heroes who overthrew Salvador Allende in 1973 were subsequently railroaded to prison for life by kangaroo courts based on the Spanish Inquisition in which the judge is also the prosecutor and the accused are presumed guilty and not given a chance to prove their innocence.
