Blago’s Legacy Need Not Be Disgrace When He Can Be A Taxpayer’s Hero

Chicago, IL.Rod Blagojevich is now suffering under the tyranny he imposed on others.

Blagojevich has supported every gun control ban, restriction or other roadblock to the rights to keep and bear arms. When imposing the bans, he did so from the well protected Ivory Towers of political office. Of course there was his small army of state police bodyguards. Now all his protections are gone but for a one-year extention on the bodyguards and the state owned SUV.

Convicted of nothing the exiled leader had any rights to possess firearms taken because he was arrested. That’s even more egregious since he’s not even been indicted.

Everyone including enemies and those fearing the former governor’s future revelations on political corruption know where he lives. My guess is this man now has a big target on his back and is rightfully worried. That is not a good position for anyone.

In short Blagojevich will soon enough personally know exactly what he imposed on others.

When Blagojevich cited the Golden Rule during his impeachment remarks, I took that as a real threat made to return the full favors to his former friends and colleagues. This man knows just where the bones are buried and can bring down the entire Chicago Democratic Machine. Blagojevich has the goods on Barack Obama and his merry band of thieves who have seized control of the Whitehouse.

Under the circumstances Blagojevich is in serious danger of being silenced very soon. When that happens the Chicago Democratic Mob will make it look like suicide, an accident or blame some disturbed person for the crime.

The best thing the former Governor can do is come clean with all the corruption information while he is still breathing. Blagojevich can be remembered as the man that really made a difference. Blagojevich can have a legacy of disgrace or that of a taxpayer’s hero

Update: The security detail was removed and Blago’s butt is now the target. It’s more difficult to hit a moving target so he needs to keep up the talk show tour.

At 14 He’s The Youngest Chicago Police Recruit, Ever

Chicago, Il—As officers of the Third District were in the middle of a shift change a young imposter made himself at home, signed out a radio and got himself a citation book. He was assigned to a two officer car and hit the streets out on patrol. Since it is winter and his holster area is covered by a jacket nobody notices he has no gun.

In recent years Chicago police have begun dressing down, abandoning strict uniform requirements. Often no two officers are wearing the same uniforms. The trademark checkerboard field cap with the official and numbered shield has been sidelined for cheap baseball caps. It has been difficult to define just who the real police are anymore.

The imposter’s partner fails to notice he’s too young to be shaving yet or that anything is unusual. The lad was living out an adventure that could soon be a major motion picture!

The big question is how many other imposters could gain inside access to facilities, records and prisoners in lockups? When the ruse was discovered it became a national embarrassment for the Chicago Police Department.

The lapse here is a sign of a much bigger problem rule changes and new security measures will not cure. Political hacks and pretenders fill today’s command ranks. Returning to promotions by civil service testing with the elimination of affirmative action, clout or other contrived hiring criteria would be a great start.

You simply can’t hire and promote people who are unable to do that important job. Clout promotions of unworthy candidates are behind most of the difficulties that are making this department infamous.

Don’t expect real change here because Alderman Ed Burke and Mayor Daley have absolute power and absolute power-- well you know the rest.

Fugitive Soccer Mom To Be Freed from Prison

Lansing, MI-- Susan Lefevrere now known as Marie Walsh escaped from a Michigan prison more than three decades ago. She was a first time offending teenager who got a 10 to 20 year prison sentence for selling a small amount of heroin to an undercover cop. That prison term was off the charts in harshness considering she pled guilty and was expecting probation.

Since her 1976 breakout Walsh turned her life around, moved to the San Diego area and raised a photogenic family with her husband. She lived in an upper-class Carmel Valley neighborhood and enjoyed the American dream. She became a solid member of the community and never looked back or reoffended.

That all changed when there was a rude knock at the door on April 24, 2008. It was a deputy United States Marshall and Walsh’s blessed world came crashing down. Someone had informed on Walsh.

Despite pleas from hundreds of friends and supporters Michigan officials wanted their pound of flesh from this now middle-aged woman who was no threat to anyone. They bagged her and put her on a prison bus back to Michigan.

An utterly worthless and vindictive Wayne County Prosecutor wanted even more and prosecuted Walsh for that ancient escape. That brought an additional five-year probation term along with lots of legal fees.

Finally there is light at the end of a very dark and ugly tunnel. Today the Michigan parole board voted 10-0 to release Walsh on May 19, 2009.

That action has shaved years off of Walsh’s original sentence but the subsequent punishment was wasted on the woman who long ago chose the right path of honorable behavior.

Walsh should have been forgiven or pardoned but instead suffered unnecessary humiliation and excessive additional punishment. The process has been nothing short of a continuing emotional nightmare

When she is released in May she will have lost 13 months of her life she or her family will never see again. That was a meaningless exercise that was unnecessarily cruel.

If there is something good here it’s that Walsh will never have to look over her shoulder or fear a knock at her door again. I hope to welcome Marie back to freedom on a nice spring day.

Illinois Impeachment Proceedings Are Medieval An Un-American

Springfield, IL—I don’t agree with much any Illinois Democrat thinks about the way government should be run. That certainly includes Governor Rod Blagojevich. The Illinois Senate is conducting an impeachment farce under color of law.

The Senate is weighing select snippets of hearsay testimony. I guess if these ate truths they are by definition half or quarter truths.

Calling this a sham is an understatement. Are they using this as a stall tactic to protect members of the Obama Administration? That seems to be the only viable reason. I refuse to accept they’re acting out of ignorance of the law since there are so many lawyers involved in the proceeding.

Castro’s Executioner Hailed As A Folk Hero

Ernesto "Che" Guevara (1928-1967) was hailed by Communists and the Left Wing as a Liberator. The reality was that Guevara was nothing more than a brutal thug and prolific serial killer.

Guevara had the gift of good looks, a rich voice and the ability to influence a lot of gullible fools.

Guevara somehow managed to graduate medical school but quickly abandoned his Hippocratic Oath to, “do no harm” and became Fidel Castro’s executioner. Guevara was credited with personally killing thousands of political prisoners.

In October of 1967, the terrorist who lived by the gun, died by the gun. The American CIA is credited with assisting in locating and killing the total turd in Bolivia. Guevara never looked better as he finally became a good Communist by becoming a dead Communist.

Still today every Left Wing lunatic wants to elevate Guevara to the status of a holy martyr when in reality he made people like Richard Speck and Ted Bundy look good.

Those that want to impose their ideal, One World Communist State on others all deserve Guevara’s fate.

India's Mahatma Gandhi Weighed In on Gun Control

The words came from this master of peace, Mahatma Gandhi's own mouth, "Among the many misdeeds of the British rule in India, history will look upon the act depriving a whole nation of arms, as the blackest."

Gandhi saw firsthand the horror defenseless unarmed people must suffer. An unarmed Gandhi was shot down outside the Birla House in Delhi in January of 1948. Gandhi was a wise man with a big influence that was just not big enough.

Impeachment By Hearsay And Silliness

Springfield, IL. -- How can you hold an impeachment trial against Governor Rod Blagojevich without any actual witnesses involved in the events under review? The Illinois Senate should put off proceedings until they can compel and hear testimony from witnesses.

To hold the proceeding with no viable way to present key witnesses is little more that a major embarrassment. Not only are they trying to proceed with hearsay but the hearsay is so overwhelmingly incomplete.

The Senate will not have enough evidence to really know whether there was an impeachable offense with any acceptable evidence. They only have portions of allegations.

Illinois legislators are making themselves the laughing stock of the nation. They really need to avoid the silliness and wait to proceed when and until the evidence needed is available and they are prepared to give the governor due process.

Oh what a circus, oh what a show!

A Warning To American Politicians That Want To Impose Marxism Here

There was this fellow in Romania who got his just deserts back in 1989. The fellow imposed Marxism on those he ruled with an iron fist. Then one night his sleep was inturrupted by some visitors. I guess it was not a social call.

The man along with his wife received a very quick trial and justice.

The only good Communists are dead Communists. The fellow and his wife became very good Communists!

Drew Peterson's Lawyer Weighs In On The Blago Impeachment

Chicago, IL-- It seems I’m not the only one that is suspect of the impeachment efforts against Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich. I’ve argued that there is an effort to, discredit and destroy the governor while covering up the wrongdoing of others. The Illinois Legislature is unlawfully engaged in an obstruction of justice by blocking any evidence helpful to the governor’s defense.

You cannot deny any American of the basic right to confront an accuser or bring forth witnesses in any proceeding where life, liberty or property is at stake. The governor’s employment contract and paycheck is certainly property.

Joel Brodsky, the attorney who represents retired Bolingbrook Illinois police sergeant Drew Peterson has also taken exception to the lawless Illinois Legislature’s efforts to violate the governor’s civil rights.

Here are Joel Brodsky’s own words:
Why Illinois Governor Blagojevich

You Deserve A Break Today, At McDonald’s! Welcome To Hollywood!

Hollywood, CA--In L.A. you see a lot of sights that after a while you simply have to ignore. The local wildlife here just does not exist in places like Nebraska.

Leave it to a local KCBS-TV/Kcal-TV news photographer, Bryan Frank to snap a picture with his Blackberry, write a quick story of what he sees during a lunch break and files in on his blog called BeFrank.

Los Angeles, CA—7:42 PM--The building I was in began shaking in an up and down movement. Then it was rolling back and forth. Having just eaten I think I’m about to barf it all up.

A check on line with the U.S. Geological Survey Earthquake website I got the details. It was a little rattler in or around Marina Del Rey.

According to various local news sources It seems we were lucky that there were apparently no injuries or damage reported.

See what the UDGS has to say.

Update: My dinner just got flushed. It was like I was seasick.

What’s Next for Blago? I Must Be Psychic!

Springfield, IL—It will be a short and not so sweet formality as the Senate hears allegations and convicts the embattled Governor, Rod Blagojevich ordering him removed from office. The Lt. Governor will move right into Blago’s office and take over as he makes a big sanctimonious and self-serving speech.

Lawyer, Ed Genson is already drafting his complaint for Violation of Civil Rights and a Petition for a Temporary Restraining Order blocking the impeachment order pending full judicial review. The likelihood for success is significant since in theory the Illinois Legislature is not above the law.

Anyone who thinks impeachment will be a slam–dunk process is sadly mistaken. Remember where you read this first!

An Update: Blago’s lawyer Ed Genson announced he is planning to withdraw as his counsel. Genson cited serious communications issues with the beleaguered governor.

It’s anyone’s guess when, if or who will file anything at all in court on Blago’s behalf. I don't think Blago will just fall on his sword anytime soon.

Governor Rod Blagojevich Is Absolutely Right About The Impeachment Railroad Job

Chicago, IL-- Governor Rod Blagojevich is absolutely correct in his assessment of the Illinois Senate impeachment effort to remove him from office. They are violating his rights under the Constitution.

I’ve never been a fan of this beleaguered governor or the people he ran with. The rub here is twofold not only do they violate Blago’s rights his co-conspirators will escape any scrutiny or cross-examination.

We will never learn the facts from the players of this sordid affair. There will be no transparency and crooks will be protected. That is not good public policy.

This is more about a cover-up to protect the administration of Barack Obama than an effort to remove the Governor.

Governor Rod Blagojevich deserves the same due process we afford child killers.

New York Senate Appointment is A Shocker!

Albany, NY—Instead of appointing that very liberal, Camelot Daughter, Caroline Kennedy, Governor Dave Paterson, has picked a little-known, upstate Congresswoman Kirsten Gillibrand to succeed Hillary Rodham Clinton as New York's junior senator. Most shocking of all, Gillibrand was backed by the National Rifle Association! Maybe there is a glimmer of hope left in America.

You can read more about this right here.

Cops, Private Eyes and True Crime Buffs Blogging

Los Angeles, CA—I’m not sure just how this contagious blogging phenomena has enslaved so many cops, private eyes and others but we are here.

It’s a labor of love with few rewards. For everyone who likes what I write there must be ten who don’t. I never log on to please everyone. Opinions, sarcasm and mean spirited jabs are everywhere in the blogosphere.

My goal is not to convince people as much as to invite thought and more importantly solutions for problems examined throughout the criminal justice system.

I’m a tough gun rights advocate that hates the death penalty. I demand fair trials due process for people accused of crimes. At the same time I support those three strikes laws that keep criminals behind bars.

As a blogger I must write about fun things in life too. I enjoy surprising my visitors with more than just the ugly things in our lives.

Along with my blog there are many others and now bloggers are profiling other bloggers. One thing for sure there is an interesting group profiled in Criminal Justice USA.

Shameful Obama Coronation Media Coverage Is Unprecedented

Washington, DC—America’s media is stuffed with people, who for the most part came from privileged families, attended universities controlled and operated by Left Wing academics. After the young minds were made right or in this case Left they obtained jobs in the news organizations run for the most part by Liberals.

Under the circumstances it’s understandable why they are all in love with our new Marxist leader, Barack Obama. I’ve been over-exposed to three days of Obama PR overload.

January 19: Non-stop coverage of what to expect during $170 million spectacle, from reporters gushing with admiration and love for Obama.

January 20: Non-stop coverage of the $170 million spectacle, from reporters gushing with admiration and love for Obama.

January 21: Non-stop coverage of what happened at the $170 million spectacle, from reporters gushing with admiration and love for Obama.

Can we get back to the real news about how our government is destroying honest and profitable banks and businesses by rewarding their failing and crooked competitors with free taxpayer money?

Can we get back to the news about how our government can make us all safer by further restricting our rights and liberties?

Can we get back to the news about how American jobs are evaporating?

Can we get someone to give us news we can use such as showing us how our Bolshevik leaders can simply print money backed by nothing to give this nightmare a happy ending?

Okay Somebody had to be first…

For failure to answer questions and provide documentation to hold the office of President as a Natural Born Citizen impeachment is warranted.

For association with terrorists and enemies of America like Jeremiah Wright, William Ayres and fellow members of The W.E.B. Dubois Club impeachment is warranted.

For adoption of a political platform that is un-American and designed to destroy free enterprise impeachment is warranted.

American Women dealing with guns for self-defense

Not all women are like Oprah Winfrey, Rosie O’Donnell or Diane Feinstein. These days more women are self-reliant and willing to protect themselves and their families.

Beauty Bailout! Free Cosmetics!

Okay most of my readers are guys, but they all have wives, daughters and girlfriends. Of course there are lots of delightful ladies that would never miss reading anything I write!

Crimefile has learned that as a result of a price-fixing lawsuit many high end department stores must give away $175 million in free cosmetics.

There are no rules other than giving your name and telling them you bought these products before, during the period of: May 29, 1994 and July 16, 2003. No receipts or other proof is required.

I would be really upset if my Right thinking lady readers missed out on anything free. This all begins on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 until supplies are exhausted at the following stores: Bergdorf Goodman, Bergner’s, Bloomingdale’s, Boston Store, Carson Pirie Scott, Dillard’s, Gottschalks, Herberger’s, Macy’s, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Parisian, Saks Fifth Avenue and Younkers.

The exact settlement details can be found here.

The Official Crimefile Review of Clint Eastwood’s Gran Torino

Westwood Village, Los Angeles, CA—Okay so I’ve been a Clint Eastwood fan all the way back to those Spaghetti Westerns of the late 1960s. How can an Eastwood fan not see any film he both directs and stars in?

Gran Torino is about a retired Michigan autoworker and aging Korean War vet, Walt Kowalski who just lost his wife. He’s now finding that he has to make some serious social adjustments to today’s new society. He is about to embark on adventures we’d all like to avoid.

Kowalski’s most important prized possession is a mint condition Ford Gran Torino.

Kowalski can’t seem to connect with his two adult son’s or their families. I met Kowalski many times in this life. He’s a composite of so many older military veterans that have returned to an ungrateful nation.

Along the way Kowalski has to deal with thugs in a way that made Eastwood’s films so popular. Torino offers a lot more to than vengeance and curbside justice.

Walt Kowalski has to deal with the next door neighbors who happen to be Hmong immigrants. There are serious clashes with ethnic gangs of hood rats.

This is an actor’s film instead of something loaded with special effects and expensive sets. It gets by on high octane acting alone. I see some Academy Awards in the future for these fine stars. Ahney Her, Bee Vang and Christopher Carley who all rock as their young characters help Kowalski reestablish his relevance as a person.

This film is one of Eastwood’s finest.

Chicago Needs A Subway Vigilante Like Bernhard Goetz

Chicago, IL—In this Murder Capital there is a rash of attacks going on in the CTA Subway and elevated lines. Unarmed commuters are being terrorized by armed thugs. My question is, where’s New York's Bernie Goetz when you need him?

All Americans have the right to use deadly force to stop robbery, rape, kidnapping and serious assault that can happen on public transportation.

Why become a victim? Get a reliable, large caliber handgun, training and carry it! Why give a rat’s ass about any gun bans when the thugs don’t? More importantly shoot the bastards!

Should you shoot a thug or two leave them lay and disappear. You have a right not to talk to police and no law requires you to stay. If the cops catch up with you say nothing and ask for a lawyer. You can’t be penalized for silence and cooperation get’s you nothing but a solid case against you for carrying a gun.

At first Bernhard Goetz was only a ghost. They only had a poor artist’s rendering of him until he made contact with the police. Goetz spilled his guts and went through hell for years even though he was acquitted for assault and homicide related charges. Why put yourself through Hell when you can shut up instead?

Even in Chicago you need not surrender to crime. Fight back and win. Let the mothers of these thugs scream and whine at the loss of their darling little cowards. Let the Liberals express their shock and horror of American surviving through self-reliance and self-defense.

Justifiable use of force in defense of self or others is never a crime. Some jurisdictions use bogus laws to violate the rights of Americans to keep and carry firearms and to that I say, so what! Cowardly thugs will skip this venue in a hurry as peace, comfort and safety will replace terror abd what's wrong with that?

Obama Is An Assassination Lightening Rod.

Washington, DC—I’ve said it before that being President of the United States brings a ten percent chance of assassination with it.

Foreign operatives, the mentally disturbed and people with deep political convictions are the ones most likely to succeed in such an act.

Barack Obama is hated by millions for two reasons, the Black color of his skin and the Red color of his politics. I’ve grown up like so many Americans during the Cold War with the view that the only good Communists are dead Communists.

Like the late Martin Luther King embraced Marxism so does Obama.

I don’t have the stomach to take action until someone over-rides the Constitution threatening our freedom. History has taught us that even without such a threat there is no shortage of candidates wanting to fill the shoes of John Wilkes Booth.

The Secret Service

This organization has hundreds of agents and uniformed officers with the job of protecting the President. They know full well that the next attack on an American President may come from an unconventional and technologically advanced weapon. The days of using simple firearms for such deeds may be over.

The Secret Service has to assess every threat and deal with them. I hear the words, “credible threat” all the time and I’ll be damned if I would know one if I saw it. Every threat is credible until proven it was not a threat.

These fine men and women are sworn to uphold, defend and protect the Constitution. At what point in a President’s term do they turn on a President that threatens the American way of life?

Today we are traveling in uncharted territory with the Left leaning George W. Bush and the Liberal majority in our Congress destroying our free enterprise system.

Bailing out poorly run or corrupt banks and businesses with tax money will never work. No other solvent banks or businesses can compete with competitors getting free government money for failure.

We have the greatest challenges ahead for the American Experiment. I give neither Barack Obama nor our soon to be, former way of life much chance of survival.

Orlando SHOT SHOW Being Covered By Master Gun Scribe Frank James

Orlando, FL—No I could not attend this year’s show but Frank James is saving me from the sore feet as he and his camera are out chasing the new stuff.

He has plenty of pictures on his site right here.

Blogo Lawyer Ed Genson Walks off The Job.

Springfield, IL—In a move I predicted, lawyer, Ed Genson will wind up litigating Governor Rod Blagojevich's removal in Federal District Court rather than before the Illinois Senate. The cunning lawyer said today he'd not become part of an un-American exercize.

The heavily, Democratically controlled Senate won’t afford Blagojevich simple due process rights such as being able to subpoena witnesses and confront his accusers. They are afraid of exposing Barack Obama to revelations that would lead to his fall from Grace.

The court will have no choice but to stay any removal and order the Senate to stop violating Blagojevich’s rights. That means they will have to allow the governor his right to due process so he can raise his defense.

This strategy buys time for everyone and will also provide a more convenient time for Blagojevich to negotiate a plea agreement and resignation. That of course is exactly what Obama needs.

On a side note there is dissention within the FBI. Some Chicago field agents think that the Justice department is protecting Obama from scandal. Some have speculated on their impending transfer to the field office in Guam once Obama has got Obama hatchet man Eric Holder running the show.

US Airways Passengers Are Safe

NY,NY—In the Catholic Church there was a patron Saint of travelers. He was St. Christopher who was defrocked as a saint by the church as a myth over 20 years ago. Some Catholics still wear those medals despite the church’s demotion of Mr. Christopher.

Was it some kind of divine protection or just dumb luck that nobody died in today’s aircraft mishap?

I know there is a lot of damage. Lost data and destroyed laptops, cameras and ruined clothing. All the cargo and luggage is below the water line. It will cost a bundle to extract the plane and make it airworthy once again. But no lives were lost!

I remember a similar accident I personally witnessed from the air of a November 1968 water landing for Japan Airlines flight. I could see the passengers in little yellow life rafts around that plane in the San Francisco Bay.
