Real Protection For Women Who Sell Real Estate

If you’re a woman who sells residential real estate you are well aware of the rapes, robberies and murders that are too often a part of the job. If you feel that your life and livelihood are equally important you deserve the necessary mindset and proper tool to insure your own survival.

I don’t care what you’ve been told; the only meaningful self-defense that’s obtainable is though a handgun. If you’ve been told otherwise the misinformation came from an ignorant person or perhaps police officials following the dictates of the gun rights hating politicians and bureaucrats that control them. If handguns were not effective the police would not carry or use them.

I don’t care what the local laws where you work prohibit. I don’t care what your employer and his insurance company have to say. Your employer or the local police are not there protecting you during that open house showing. If you can get a concealed weapon permit, do so. If you can’t get a concealed weapon permit carry a handgun anyway.

That said, your firearm is not going to be helpful without the training needed to use this lifesaver. Training is available most everywhere in the care, operation, safety, and laws concerning liability and the justifiable use of deadly force.

Don’t carry a gun in your purse because an attacker may capture it from you. Instead put in a holster under a blazer, sweater or jacket. There are great belt and shoulder holsters that work well on women.

Don’t carry tiny guns unless you’re hunting for mice. Only carry a .38 cal, 9MM or larger for effective self-defense.

If you have and use a firearm for legitimate self-defense the penalties you may face in some jurisdictions for possession or concealed carry are but a slap on the wrist. You can’t be punished for defending yourself. Your life is worth more than that of some politician making public restrictive gun rights policy from his or her well-protected ivory tower.

If you have to shoot someone call a lawyer instead of 911. Let the lawyer call the cops for you. What you tell a lawyer can’t be used against you but what you tell the cops can. Only talk to your lawyer and who he or she tells you no matter how nice the cops are to you.

Support your own right to exist and be safe by demanding your politicians protect your right to keep and carry a gun for self-defense.

I'd rather get fired and arrested for carrying a gun than getting raped and murdered!

I've been carrying a gun in Los Angeles without a permit for the eight years I've been selling homes.

Bravo!

YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT IN REGARDS TO THE WEAPON THAT A WOMAN SHOULD CARRY. WHILE I DO AGREE THAT WOMEN DO NEED SOME KIND OF SECURITY, A .22 OR .25 CALIBER CAN BE JUST AS EFFECTIVE IN DOING THE JOB. ALSO, IT MAY BE EASIER TO HANDLE AND FIRE. SHOT PLACEMENT IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN HAVING A BIG GUN AND MISSING THE TARGET.

The fact is that your mouse guns can possibly kill but the bad guy will be able to continue his assault until he bleeds out. Small holes in tissue self-seal faster than larger ones.

The greather shock of bigger bullets stops attackers much quicker than tiny rounds.

If you were somehow correct police agencies everywherwe would arm their officers with mouse guns.

I’ve watched too many people shot in the chest with small caliber guns treat their ordeal like a nuisance rather than a life-changing event.

If you’re a copper I suggest you get with the ER physicians or your medical examiners and get the truth.

Training and shot placement are everything in gunfights. However some woman with an attacker in her face will not be able to make those deliberate shots like those on the firing range. Because she would be very close hitting the target is not so difficult.

The sight and blast of a real gun demonstrates that it’s time to go away if the attacker possibly can.

I survived an attack by a drunken fool with a .45 after I had emptied my five shot .38 snub into him. Although he was critically wounded from three rounds in his torso he never fell or even dropped his gun in my presence. The other two shots hit him in his arm and testicles.

Little guns are more for entertainment. You are better off using a nasty knife than a mouse gun.

You are misinformed and your advice stinks.

Hear hear! Well said crimefile. While I can see a mousegun as backup, a 9mm/.38 is the floor. If they want a real real small 9mm, I suggest the new P9 Kel-tec will come out in Sept. Just a bit larger than the P3AT, but it take the 9x19, +p at that. Yes it kicks, my P3AT kicks to quite a bit. But if they practice with the lowest loads and then carry the +p, it will do, and it can be carried where many other defensive handguns cannot.
